A/N: Back to Present Day. Vic and Kellin are racing to the hospital! Also sorry this is so bloody long! Hope it's worth it!
-----------------------
"Kellin you need to breathe." The older man on my right told me as we rushed down the street to the local hospital. I was torn apart by grief and fear, I cannot lose Ame or my niece or nephew especially not after how I've been acting the last week. Tears flooded my eyes as I watched the hospital come into view, a shock went through me as a soft strong hand rested over mine on my lap. I looked up and meet Vic's soft brown eyes, "They'll be fine. Now please calm down so you and your baby won't be joining them." He reassured me as the car came to a stop, my heart fell into my stomach and I was locked in my seat.
"Vic I can't do this alone." I whispered and the tan skinned man smiled sympathetically.
"You won't. Come on." He said and leaded me out of the car to the lobby. It wasn't long before we found Alex wearing yesterday's clothes shaking in the waiting room. He looked up when he heard foot steps and rushed me in a hug crying into my tee shirt the whole time Vic held my hand lightly, it seemed like an eternity before anyone came to give us news.
"Mr. Gaskarth?" A gentle voice asked from over my shoulder, Alex released me and moved forward Vic and I behind him.
"I'm Doctor Stump." The shorter red haired man explained, "I've been over seeing your wife and child's care. Everything is okay now but we had to deliver your daughter early. He is stable but in critical condition, your wife is sleeping. She lost a lot of blood this morning it's a miracle that she and he survived, you may see her if you like."

I felt a sigh of relief come over me, Alex hugged me tightly both of us in tears. Dr. Stump turned to Vic and smiled, "Victor, I hoped I wouldn't have to see you here again. Are you with Mr. Gaskarth?" He asked making Vic look a bit sick.
"I am. Kellin is an aquatints of mine, Mrs. Gaskarth is his best friend. I'm here as moral support." Dr. Stump nodded eyeing me for a moment.
"You two should go with Mr. Gaskarth. I'll see to that you aren't removed." Dr. Stump added before leaving, he returned a moment later and lead the three of us to where Ame was. She lay in the middle of an all white bed damp with sweat and tired, she gave a weak half asleep smile as we came in.
"Mrs. Gaskarth, you're awake." Dr. Stump said shocked.
"I couldn't sleep."
"That's alright. How's your pain?"
"None. Where's my baby?"
"In the NICU. He's stable but not out of the woods." Stump explained which was fallowed by silence.

"Ame." I spoke up for the door, her gray eyes meet mine and she began to cry holding her arms out like a child. I ran to her side slipping out of Vic's grip as I held her closely.
"It's okay. She's gonna be just fine, she's yours and Al's tough as nails."
"A girl?" Ame asked in shock and awe looking at Al like it was magic.
"Yeah, we have a baby girl." He answer tears washing down his pale face. He walked over and joined our hug I smiled, happy to have my family back.
"We learned in medical school, it helps if your baby has a name in this fight." Vic added making me jump from the quiet.
"River William." Ame said without hesitation Alex nodded and I smiled looking at Vic with hope. He's brown eyes meeting mine made my heart jump.
