Anthony's POV-
Well, it's a new, dreadful school day.
I'm waking up to screaming in 3:37 am, coming from the kitchen.
I rush down to see my dad, smelling of alcohol & pot. Not something, I'm wanting to wake up to. I look over to see my mom crying, & when she see's me, she pushes my dad off of her & makes her way towards me.
My mom is beautiful, long blackish, brown hair, stunning green eyes, light freckles, glowing tan skin. While my dad, black hair, dull, dark brown eyes, pale, sunken in skin.
My mother, Rachel, looks at my face & with a cracking voice, "Go upstairs & get ready for school, you wouldn't want to be late on your first day." Immediately I'm angered, I look towards my dad, to see him looking at me with so much hate & anger. My 'Father', John with so much anger tells me, "You little good for nothing fag, you're walking to school, & don't be a minute late, or so god help me!"
I look at my mom softly & tell her to go freshen up so she can go to work. I then rush towards John & punch him straight in the face, I have so much adrenaline that I didn't realize I hit him. I guess I just got so angry that he tried to lay a hand on my mother, that I punched him. I wish I did this sooner, 'cause when I looked down he was knocked out.
After twenty minutes of just standing there mom walks in with her soft voice speaking to me, ever so softly, "Sweetie, why don't you get ready, I'll drive you. I'll deal with him later." She finishes with a standing on her tippy toes to kiss my temple.
I look down at her & smile, "Mom, I'll just walk, you have work, & he said he won't be here after we leave. But sure I'll get ready, love you ma." Kissing her cheek. She smiles softly. "I love you too dear."
As I'm walking upstairs I here the front door open then slam shut hard. I'm guessing that's my dad.
I look at the clock & its 4:58 am, I got awhile.
