Compel me pt. 2

Oh what a sight to walk into."
Damon and Elena pulled apart from their make out session on the Salvatore's couch.
"Miss me?"
Damon jumped up and pulled Y/N into his arms. He missed his best friend. When he let go, Elena pulled the familiar girl into a tight hug.
"Y/n it's so good to see you. What are you doing here?"
"Well Kol cheated on me with a witch, basically told me he didn't love me anymore, so klaus sent me here."
Damon's face showed anger. He was always so protective. You couldn't help but grin at him.
"Shouldn't you be upset?"
"Trust me Lena. I have been. Something's wrong anytime I saw them together or anytime I thought about Kol or the witch I'd get these huge cuts across my chest like it was physically tearing my heart out. Klaus compelled me not to hurt that's why I'm not upset."
"We will figure it out. I'm sure klaus is already looking for answers now, but since your here let's invite everyone over for a drinking party. I've missed my second favorite girl."
You laughed at that, Damon and you claimed each other like that since you guys both fell in love. It was good to be home.

Kols P.O.V

For the past days that Y/N left New Orleans everything as been quiet and I've debated on if I wanted to look in the box she gave me. The box of 'us'. Klaus hasn't spoken to me since she left and Hayley either. All three of them were so close and she's just, gone now. It's all my fault. Finding the courage I opened the lid and pulled out the first object I saw. It was a ring with a huge diamond in the middle and the stone was black and blue. Engraved on the inside was the date we met. She kept everything.

1 year later

Y/N couldn't believe it. She wouldn't. Soul mates her and Kol were supposed to be soul mates. Damon sat next to her in his car reading the soul mate prophecy out loud. He was kind of just skimming through it. Kol didn't love me anymore and that's why I had gotten all those scars on my chest. None of it matter anymore. You still had the scars and not the pain and it wasn't cause of klaus' compulsion.
"Are you ready to see him again,"
"I've never been more ready than anything in my life Damon Salvatore."

Klaus's P.O.V

All of us were surround the sheet of paper that showed all the potential new enemies coming to kill me since Kols stupid girlfriend broke my sire line. I still haven't talked to him since Y/N left.  Which reminded me that she hadn't called to check in today.
"What are we going to do brother?"
"The only thing we can do. We fight. I will not let any more harm come to our family, especially not hope."
"I hope I'm on that list cause if not I might have to leave."
Y/N stood in front of the door way and the Salvatore was behind her laughing at her dramatic entrance, but I was confused I compelled her not to come back unless she no longer loved my brother or if I come get her and clearly I didn't go get her. Does that mean? My family looked as surprised as me. Kol opened his mouth to speak but Y/N beat him to it.
"I missed you, but we need to talk."
"Y/n I agree we do need to talk."
"I wasn't talking to you Kol. I was talking to klaus. Klaus how dare you make me forget that you kissed me."
I was speechless. Y/N walked to me slowly until she was in front of me then she threw her arms around my neck and giggled slightly.
"Nik I think you should kiss me again,but this time don't compel me to forget."
My mouth connected with hers and I wasn't really sure who caused it me or her but at this point I didn't care. Y/N was kissing me. She came back for me.
"You have no idea how much I missed you love."
"I think I do."
She went to kiss me again until someone cleared their throat reminding us we weren't the only people in the house.

Y/n  P.O.V

"What is going on. I'm so confused right now."
"Hayley I missed you babe."
I hugged her tightly and hugged everyone else including Kol.
"Day are you leaving?"
Damon nodded to me and pulled me into a hug. The grabbed my arm and checked my soul mates mark. It had changed, tears sprung to my eyes. Instead of the k.m I bared previously I now had an n.m
"It worked. It really worked!"
"What worked? We need you to explain a few things, love."
"Of course, sit."
All my old friends sat down and I launched into the story of klaus kissing me and compelling me to forget and what else he compelled me to do.
"The mystic falls gang and I searched for what the problem was and why I was feeling physical pain because of Kol and Davina. One night I was showering and I saw my birth mark that I've had since I was born and really looked at it. It was in the shape of a K.M. Meaning Kol mikealson. We were soul mates Kol and I, but by this time I had already fell out of love with Kol. So Damon and I searched for anyway that I could change my mark and we found one. I had to kiss someone that truly loved me amd that I truly loved. I knew who it was instantly."
I showed my mark to the group now. The N.M.
"Nicklaus mikealson. Your my soul mate Nik."
Nik pulled me into another fiery kiss and I smiled into it.
"Do I have a mark with your intitials?"
You pulled the corner of his shirt down and on his chest sure enough your initials were proudly placed over his heart. Soul mates always and forever.
