Just seeing you happy

You brought colour to my world
The first was blue.
When I saw the sky,
I thought of you.
Then it was orange
Like the radiant sun.
Warm like your embrace
When the day is done.
Next was green
With the leaves on a tree
Because when I'm with you
I feel free.
I saw yellow
And you were gold.
Nothing quite like
Being in your hold.
Then came purple and sunset was
almost complete.
Just one colour left,
The colour of heat.
The last was red
On that beautiful rose.
Wish I couldn't see
Her lipstick on your nose.
