- One Year Later -

"Stupid Namikaze.." You mumbled under your breath, you were mad at him as of the moment.

He broke all of your new pencils.

You were still trying to get him to talk to you, you always saw him talking to the pretty red haired girl. You don't know what happened between them, but they seemed a lot closer then when the redhead first came.

You saw how she got bullied, you saw how she was emotionally broken like yourself.

But you didn't do anything.

Maybe it was because you didn't care, maybe it was because you thought that maybe someone else would come and help her.

Maybe it was because she was just so much like yourself that you couldn't bare to be near her.

Whatever the reason, it was done and over with, Namikaze was happy and that's all that was important as of the moment. He never looked happy and when he did, it was when he was breaking your freaking pencils.

Freaking Namikaze.

On the flip side, you and Renki have grown closer, sleep overs and play dates were often and  you were almost never seen apart.

His mom always smirked you when you were alone with her.

You still didn't know why.

Renki keep calling you "Tomato-chan" and it didn't make you blush anymore. You just became punched his arm softly and called him "Idiot"

This friendship was way better then the other poisonous one you had with her.

Life was good.

Freaking Namikaze was being more jerkish then usual today, and in your opinion, he was pretty much top on your "List To Annoy."

Your poor pencils...

His redhead best friend even stayed clear of him, you were one of the dumb ones that decided to tease him.

'I am never doing that again,' you said to yourself as you stared down at the snapped pencil, 'Yup, I need to learn to read the mood.'

Renki was more weary then usual and that scared you, he was almost never tense. Even if he was learning to be a ninja, he was never weary unless he knew something was wrong.

But you ignored it, nothing bad could really happen to a bunch of 8 and 9 year olds.

You smiled to yourself as you threw away the pencil that Minato had snapped before.

Not notice the lighting blue eyes trailing after you.
