Nothing really happened after that, Renki didn't really question anything and you found that kinda off. Renki was the type of person who would question something once he heard about it. But he never did ask about what happened with you.

That's what worried you.

The day after that was normal, tutoring with Minato went alright, you were still pretty mad with your Sensei though, every single time you went back to tutor with Minato, he always broke at least one pencil.

Every. Single. Time.

Purple, orange, blue, green, yellow, black, white, it didn't matter to the blond, he was ruthless when it came to your pencils. Snapping them, throwing them somewhere, it didn't matter. Something always happened to them. And you were getting sick of it.

So the only solution to you was to poke him more, even if it made him madder you still poked him. It somehow gave you a sense of normativity, you were normal, with a normal life and a normal past. There was nothing wrong with you so nobody should be worried about your well being. You might sometimes cry, or break down. But it was only once in awhile

You could only be so normal before things went downhill.

"Wrong."

You looked down at the paper, your face scrunched up in confusion, "How are you supposed to do it then?"

Minato watched you, an emotion you couldn't place appeared in his eyes, but it was gone as soon as it came, "You add these numbers here," He made some motions on your paper with his pencil to show what he meant, "Then you divide the answer by two."

You still didn't understand how Minato explained it so simply, your Sensei always used these big words and showed more then you need to know, but when Minato did it he just literally explained how to do the problem in a few simple steps. You honestly didn't regret getting Minato as a tutor, even if you hated him as much as he hated you, he was still a good teacher.

"Alright," You wanted to go home, to your oh so very empty home. You wanted to go to your bed and sleep, and never wake up. Just to sleep, and sleep, and sleep....

"Hey."

You looked up, with your E/C eyes flashing with pain, at Minato. "Sorry, is it time to go already?" You started packing your things up, in a slow motion. Why were you being so slow?

The blond prodigy observed you, taking in your dulled eyes and baggy eyes. Your paler skin and your plain hair that seemed to be getting duller everyday.  Until, something hit him. "Do you want to come over for dinner?"

You jumped, pausing in your movements, how did this escalate so quickly? "I, um, what would your parents say?"

"My parents abandoned me when I was born." Minato said it so bluntly, like he was talking about the weather. You stood, stunned on what he said. He was an orphan too? Like you? How had you not known this? It was suddenly more obvious on why him and the redhead got together so well, they shared something in common. Something you also shared in common.

"You're an orphan too?" You honestly couldn't help but blurt it out, the question had been making its way up your throat since the blond had said that his parents left him. How could someone just avoid the answer altogether, you had to say something. "I-I mean, not to offend you or anything, but I am to-"

"I know."

'What?' You thought, a dribble of sweat fell from your forehead, 'How does he know about that??'

Minato crossed his arms, you still had to marvel over how smart he was for his age,
"Not a lot of people know about what happened to the L/N clan. But I happened to stumble into a records book at the library that happened to hold some very recent events." He looked sharply into your E/C eyes, "And you can't really hide the fact that you live alone. I've seen how quiet your house is, no house should be that quiet when someone has parents, siblings even."

He knew, he knew everything. He knew about your family, he knows what happened to your family. And ohmygod- this isn't good, this isn't how you wanted anyone to find out. You wanted it to be you to tell people, your closest friends maybe, but not Minato, not the guy who broke all your freaking pencils. The one who somehow always found you in your worst moments.

And ohmygod - he knows.

"So how about we talk more over dinner?" You couldn't decline this invitation, you couldn't.

"S-Sure.." You rasped out, "Okay."

He smiled, icy blue eyes closing, "Lets go."

You still never noticed how he knew where your house is.

You still never noticed how he watched your house.
