Third Person POV
The early morning sun shone through the windows and settled on (Y/N)'s face. She stirred in her bed but didn't awake 'til her alarm resting on her nightstand woke her up. She reached out her hand and slammed her hand down on the alarm clock and threw to the other side of the room.
Time for another stupid day of school.
She lifted her self up and began to dress for school. Her shirt was a simple white, button up top, that fit her form nicely. Her black skirt hung just a inch above her knees. (H/C) locks were (H/L) and framed her face beautifully. She didn't really consider herself that attractive, but she actually was very gorgeous. It was finally spring so she didn't bother wearing her jacket today. She grabbed her school bag, that contained her books and phone, and made her way to the kitchen.
She pondered what to have before deciding on toast and coffee. As she spread the jam on her toast she looked around at the one-story apartment she lived in. The apartment was only big enough for a kitchen, bathroom, and 2 bedrooms. The other room was occupied with (Y/N)'s best friend Naomi. (Y/N) and Naomi met in kindergarten when (Y/N) was getting picked on by some bullies and Naomi saved her, they've been inseparable since.
When the (H/C) girl finished her breakfast, Naomi walked in still in her blue poka-dot pajamas. Naomi had long blue hair and soft grey eyes. She was shorter than (Y/N), but only by an inch or two. Because of this, and the fact she was very thin with pale white skin, she could either be confused as a doll or Snow White.
"Mornin'" Naomi said while sitting down at the counter in the center of the kitchen. She rubbed her head and yawned before taking a drink off (Y/N)'s coffee. (Y/N) was use to her doing things like that and thought nothing more of it, but she took a closer look at the girl before her. Her hair was messy and her eyes were droopy like she was half asleep.
"What are you doing in your pajamas? We have to leave in 15 minutes. Are you not going to wear make up today?" (Y/N) questioned. Naomi usually wore a lot of make-up, even though she didn't need it at all. The sudden realization of time, made Naomi's eyes widen in shock and she quickly stood up.
"WHAT?! Why didn't you wake me?" Naomi shouted as she ran back to her bedroom to change. The girl left behind, chuckled a bit before finishing what was left of her breakfast.
Because you wouldn't have woken up. You sleep like a rock.
(Y/N) grabbed her bag and made her way to school. Their apartment was on the second floor, and the stairs descending to the ground were old. (Y/N) always thought that they would fall out while she climbed them. She made her way onto the main road, towards her school. She and Naomi never really walked together. Naomi's boyfriend of 2 years, would usually walk her there. Her boyfriend was already in college so (Y/N) barely knew him, but he lived near them. The walk to school was only 20 minutes so (Y/N) left her bike at home as usual.
As she was walking, she started to feel someone starring at her. They lived in a safe part of town so she wasn't use to the feeling of being watched. At first she ignored the feeling, but she started hearing the sound of foot steps behind her, perfectly in step with her. She swiftly turned around to see who it was, but nobody was there. A sigh of relief left her mouth, right before she was gabbed from behind. Strong arms wrapped around her waist, and refused to budge. They felt like arms of young man. (Y/N) kicked and thrashed about as she was restrained. A slight laugh came from behind (Y/N) while she kept struggling against the arms that restrained her. The laugh was very familiar.
"Let me go! Let me go now!" (Y/N) screamed. As if obeying her, the hold against her started to loosen, giving her enough room to break free. She quickly pivoted around ready to punch her attacker, but stopped when she saw who it was. It was her friend Ren. He was taller than the girl by a foot, and also very sturdy. His dark brown hair was messy and all over the place, he must have been in a rush out the door because it was usually well kept. His hazelnut eyes were filled with laughter. He always liked teasing (Y/N), even if it scared her.
"Hahaha, you should see the look on your face right now!" Ren boasted as he failed to keep in his laughter. She changed her mind and punched him anyways. Her punch landed in the middle of his chest, it wasn't meant to hurt him, just to convey that she was upset. "Ouch, that was mean, (Y/N)!" He said teasingly.
"Hmph!" (Y/N) turned away from him, crossing her arms and continuing her walk to school. Ren caught up to her and began making casual conversations with her. He was always a easy person for her to talk to. She didn't really make friends with people, more of distance acquaintances. She mostly kept a distance from everyone except Naomi and Ren. Her parents let her move out in high-school, so she could have her freedom and the could focus on work. She had no siblings, and no other close relatives. But (Y/N) was happy with her two friends. She didn't need anyone else.
