A Demon

I looked over the city from the top of a building. I was a most dangerous force that lurked the city by night. I took joy in haunting people and, yes, killing them. I went by Darson. I hopped down from the building and landed on the streets. I walked around for awhile. I saw something in the corner of my eye. I whisked around to see a cat. "Hello kitty, do you belong to someone?" I asked in my sinister voice. It meowed and kept walking. I rushed over to it, scaring it in the process. I chuckled as it ran away. I carried around with me a weapon. Two blades in holders. I made my way around the city. I was a demon, you could say. I saw someone walking cautiously. A smile creeped up on my face. I rushed down to where she was. "I- is someone t- there?" She asked scared. I appeared in front of her. She gasped and tried to run away. I went in front of her and turned her around. I held her hands behind her. "P- please don't k- kill me" she pleaded. Her eyes were already filled with tears. People, pathetic. I pulled out one of my swords and she squeled. I had a blood lust. I didn't drink it, but I get energy. Every time I kill someone, I get their energy. It makes me stronger. I held my blade up to her throat. She squeezed her eyes shut. "Aww, you scared?" I asked in a sinister tone. Before she could say a word I swiped the blade to the left. Cutting her throat. I let her go. She fell to the floor. Tears flowing from her eyes, blood flowing out of her body. I watched her as she bled out. I felt her energy enter me and I felt more powerful. I left her there. I jumped up to the rooftops. I hopped from roof to roof. Scouting the city. I spotted something. A military car and people. I jumped down and hid behind a wall in an alley. I watched them. They were just checking if everyone was inside. I looked at a nearby clock. It was eight o'clock. Perfect. I looked around. I crept up behind them. I made my way to the armored truck. I climbed inside, curious as to what was inside. Not thinking, obviously. There were people in there. They weren't soldiers though or guards. Just normal looking people. They all looked at me. They immediately were frightened. I smiled and held my finger to my lips. To tell them to be quiet. I jumped out the back, where I had entered. I had alerted one of the gaurds. It was a female. She pulled our her stun gun. "Put your hands in the air!" She shouted at me. I put my hands in the air. She came closer to me. Cautiously she made her way over. I whipped my foot around and knocked her stun gun in the air. I twisted around and caught it in my hand. I pointed it at her. "My my, the tables have turned" I stated. She backed away from me a little. "I've got a four eleven here. Sen-" she starts. I interrupt her by throwing a knife at her radio. It knocks the radio out of her hands, without slicing her hand. She gasped and started backing up. She turned and ran. She was running to the armored car with all the other gaurds. I sighed and followed her. "There's a dangerous suspect hea-" she stopped mid sentence. She fell to the floor with a sword in her back that I had thrown. I picked up the other one I had thrown. They all faced me. "You could've spared these peoples lives if you'd have shut your mouth" I say down to the dead girl. I pull out my sword from her. All the gaurds had surrounded me at this point. I unsheathed my other sword. Standing in the middle ring of gaurds, they pulled out their stun guns. Some had real guns. I guess if it got real, they'd have to shoot to kill. They tried to enclose the circle they had made. I jumped up and fell down behind one of them. I sliced their head off. The more I killed, the more my sinister smile grew. I had killed them all. I was standing in the middle of a bloody crime scene. I walked away, dragging blood from my swords. I wiped them off and sheathed them. I left bloody footprints. I climbed to the roof. Looking down at the blood bath. A silent wind blew by. I felt the cold night air on my face. I jumped down from the roof and left. I went to a park. Not a well known park. I slid halfway down the slide. I positioned myself where I would stay in the middle. I looked at the stars from the opening of the slide. Shimmering in the night sky. I had a time to rest. Relax. I let myself drift away. I closed my eyes. I felt myself loose consciousness, into the state of sleep. I finally fell sleep. I rarely sleep. Being a night demon thing at night. I'm always alert and try not to let myself be open. I never have dreams though. I don't even know what a dream is. It's just something I've heard normal people have them. From traveling to distant worlds to weird embarrassments in life that won't ever happen. Then there are nightmares. I think those suit me. Being a demon and all. I think that's all I ever have. Is nightmares. Not every night though. Just some. I let sleep overtake me and all my thoughts left me.
