The Breakout
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~My eyes fluttered open. I don't remember going to sleep. I sat up on, wherever I was laying. I took a look around. I saw a metal room with bars on one part of the wall. I frowned. I already didn't like where I was. What happened? I got up and walked to the metal bars. Some foot steps echoed through the place. I saw a guard walk up to my, what I can assume to be, my cell. "Greetings freak" he spat. I stared at him. "Amazing we caught you. We just found you in the streets" he told me. I turned around and walked away from the bars. "Yeah, you'll be here for awhile, if not forever" he laughed. I rushed to the cell bars. "Believe me when I say, I won't be" I said in a demeaning tone. He backed away from the bars. He then chuckled at my actions. "Is that a threat?" He asked cocking an eyebrow. "No" I simply replied. "Only if you get in the way" I said walking away from the bars once more. I heard his foot steps grow faint as he walked away. He must've been one of the head gaurds, seemed like it. I looked around once more. No windows, of course not. I heard some foot steps again. Three gaurds unlocked the gate. They had full suits on, even helmets. Two had some kind of taser gun, while the third approached me. The third guard grabbed my hands and put handcuffs on them. They all pushed me out of the cell. "Where are you taking me?" I asked. "Be quiet" one of the gaurds said. I rolled my eyes. They pushed me forward. I broke my handcuffs and turned around. I started to beat up the gaurds until I felt something. A pain starting from neck moved down to my body. Like it was shocking all of my nerves. I fell to the ground. I looked up at the gaurds. One turned and kicked the other. It knocked the other two out. The guard approached me. I looked at it confused. They took off their helmet. "Hello sugar" I heard her say. It was her. Dandi. "Ugh" I grunted. "What? Not glad to see me? I can leave" she said. I groaned and stood up. "Oh, the little shock" she said smirking. "Little?" I looked up at her. She tossed a remote in her hand. "This thing packs a punch doesn't it. Maybe I should keep it" she laughed. I rushed toward and tried to grab it. She backflipped out of my reach. She hovered her finger over the button. "You wouldn't" I said. She looked at me. "Oh, but I would" she said with a smile on her face. A lot of foot steps echoed through the hall. She looked around. "Ugh" she groaned when she saw something. I followed her gaze and saw a camera. She flipped to a knocked out guard. I looked down the hall to see the gaurds. "Catch!" She told me. I turned around to catch a gun she tossed me. "What?" I said looking at the gun. "Your gonna need it" she said grabbing out a metallic stick from her back. She held it and it transformed into a big hammer. "Heads up!" She shouted as she ran past me. She began fighting the gaurds. I looked down the other hallway, seeing a chance to escape. I looked back at her fighting the gaurds. Why do I have to care? I ran to her side. I shot the gun at many of the gaurds. We were surrounded by a group of them. We were back to back. Her hammer transformed back into a metallic stick. "Any ideas Sherlock?" She asked me. I looked around. I shot a pipe I saw. Steam sprayed out of the pipe covering the room in a thick cloud. I heard a lot of metal on metal and gunshots. I ducked and took cover around the corner. I didn't shoot, afraid it might hit her. I saw a figure running out of the smoke. She turned the corner. "Hey, there you are" she said spotting me. I got up and followed her out. "This is where it gets tricky" she said looking down the hallway. There were a bunch of gaurds blocking us. They started shooting down the hallway. We weaved down the hallway dodging their bullets. She flung herself off the side of the wall over the swarm of gaurds. I ran faster. This might work or not. I tried to use some of my powers, but I failed. I quickly jumped from wall to wall. I pushed off of the wall over the gaurds. I rolled when I hit the floor and stood up. I ran around the corner as the guards were still shooting at us. She was already far ahead of me. Bullets flew past me and hit the metal walls. I finally made it out to see her. "Come on!" She shouted. I ran to her. She grabbed the fence and pushed her feet off the ground. She flipped over the fence. She let go and landed on the ground. I just jumped the fence. Nothing fancy. We ran away. We made our way back to the city. She brought me to some underground place. "What is this?" I asked looking around. "A hideout" she answered. It had cement walls. There was a table and chairs. There was a tiny kitchen in the corner. There was also a couch. "You feeling okay?" She asked from the kitchen. She was getting into a cabinet. I paused for a moment. "I guess... why?" I questioned. "Didn't think you'd be feeling so well with that bullet in your side" she walked up to me. I looked at down at my torso. There it was. A bloody patch on the side of my shirt. "Oh" I simply said. She rolled her eyes and pushed me on the couch. She motioned me with her fingers to lift up my shirt. I lifted up my shirt for her. She had some bandage rap, I suppose she got from the cabinet. I'm in the hideout of a phsycopath letting her bandage me up.
