Before I start this, I just wanna say that most of the time, this book will be in Sage's POV, unless stated otherwise. So just assume that it's her POV all the time (because it is), unless, like I said, I say it's someone else's.
And yes, as you can see, I finally picked someone to play Sage. xD I think she's perfect for this role. I almost picked Selena Gomez, but decided against it, because she's just so overused when it comes to main female characters in One Direction fanfics. Along with Lucy Hale and Lily Collins.
Chapter 2 (October 15th, 2013)

After first and second period with Haleigh, the had class I dreaded the most: Algebra 2. Groaning and muttering incoherant words under my breath, I trudged upstairs to my class. Yes, there's two floors in my high school. The Math, Science, and Foreign Language classes were upstairs, and everything else was downstairs.
When I walked into the class, my teacher wasn't there; instead, it was a substitute in her place. Sighing in relief, I took my seat at the back of the class. She was actually the teacher I wanted to talk to before school, like I said, but to be honest, I wasn't looking forward to it. She's not the nicest teacher, if you know what I mean. She almost cussed out a student once! It was actually kind of funny, but that just proves my point: she's not a nice teacher.
I actually had forgotten that I wanted to talk to her in the first place, but whatever. I guess that'll have to wait until tomorrow. The sub stood up from my teacher's desk and walked to the front of the room. She told us to get out our unfinished group work from yesterday. We got into our groups, which I was thankful for, and she walked around the room, asking any of us if we needed help. I was surprised. Thank God she actually knows what she's doing.
Because, I'll be honest, if I was working by myself, I'd probably need it. Half of the stuff on my paper, I just copied from my two group members. Sighing lowly, I ran a hand over the top of my head, checking for any bumps in my hair absentmindedly. The rest of the period consisted of my group members and I working on the rest of the Algebra packet together. When we were all done, another girl in the group gathered all of our papers and set them on the teacher's desk.
I checked the time on my phone and saw that we only had a few minutes left of class. Sighing in relief, I gathered my stuff and waited for the bell to ring. I put my earbuds in and plugged it into my phone. I opened my music app and clicked on the second song, which was All I See Is Gold by Bridgit Mendler. Turning the volume up, I sat in my seat. By the time the song was over, the bell rang and it was time to go to fourth period.
Replaying the song, I stood up and walked quickly to Spanish 3, weaving through the large crowd of students. I got there in 40 seconds flat. And, yes, I counted...don't judge me. I'm weird like that. Taking my seat, I waited for class to start.

When sixth period finally rolled around, I was starving. Since I didn't eat anything this morning at all, I was pretty keen on getting to the commons. I took my seat at the table, seeing that Liv was already there.
"Hey. Where's Haleigh?" I asked and she pointed behind me. Craning my neck to look back, I saw my brunette friend. Smiling, I waved her over. She noticed me and waved back, walking over to Liv and I. Along with the three of us, a few other friends sat at our table too. Liv's ex-boyfriend used to sit here too, but obviously, not anymore. Haleigh's boyfriend, Jason stopped sitting here too, I guessed, because him and Mike were sitting a few tables away from us, near the huge floor-to-ceiling window. You could see the courtyard through it.
