Still gonna be slow with updating until school ends, but I'm trying to keep going.
Chapter 5 (December 9th, 2013)

Two months later, and I'm still standing here, trying to perfect my moves. But, hey, it's paying off! My Triple Axel is up to a T now, and I just recently learned the Butterfly Jump and the Death Drop. Along with some other spins, jumps, and all three Step Sequences.
I could practically see the pride in my coach's eyes. Even my mom was here, watching me practice. When she got out of the hospital a couple months ago, it was like she was brand new. She never sat down for more than five minutes and was always moving. I was happy to see her up and active, but it got annoying sometimes.
Anyway, off topic! Point is, I'm couldn't be more proud of myself! I knew I was ready, but that didn't stop me from practicing every day, still. My coach broke me out of my thoughts and I blinked at her a few times. "Oh, sorry! What'd you say?" I asked sheepishly.
She sighed, but smiled. "I said you're done. You can go home now." She replied and I nodded. I glided off the ice and took off my skates. I quickly put my Nikes back on and grabbed my bag, following my mom out the double doors.

"So how are you feeling about this? Good I hope?" My mom asked as she drove us back home. I nodded, turning on the radio.
"Yeah, I feel good. I could use some improvment, of course, but nothing I can't fix." I replied.
The rest of the car ride was pretty boring after that. I went on all of my social media sites, jamming out to Imagine Dragons all the while.

As soon as I got home, I started on my homework. Since figure skating practice is right after school, I don't get time to work on it when school ends. I quickly took off my shoes and ran upstairs to my room. Throwing my bag on the ground and my binder on my bed, I hopped on after it and dug out a pencil from the front pocket of my bag.
I stayed on my bed for about ten minutes before I started to get tired of school work. I sighed, knowing I still had about three more worksheets to get through. Once I finally finished my Spanish homework, I started on Math. The dreaded Algebra 2...just kidding, this stuff I actually understood for once. It was just some basic stuff, but I couldn't wait until later on in the year, for when we start Trigonometry.
We did some Trig stuff last year in Geometry, and it was super easy. I was so happy that I understood it. That quarter, along with the last two, seriously saved my grade. If I hadn't really pulled it together and got my grade up to a B- like I needed to pass, I would be stuck retaking the class. Can you imagine having to take both Geometry and Algebra 2 at the same time? Ugh, I'd die from stress.
But, seriously, I'm anticipating Trigonometry. Oh god, listen to me, actually being excited for something in Math...that's a first. Chuckling to myself, I started on my very easy homework. My mother broke me out of my thoughts when she just barged into my room. Rolling my eyes discreetly, I faced her.
"I'm going out, going to go buy some drinks. You want anything?" She asked me. I made a thinking face and looked up.
"Uuummm...just get me a Kit Kat or something. Oh! And some 5 Gum." I replied. She nodded and walked out. As soon as I heard the garage open and then close, I grinned and blasted the song that was playing on my laptop from YouTube. I had been listening to a bunch of music earlier, but it wasn't that loud, because my mom was here. I love listening to music while working on stuff. It helps me focus.
Goodbye Song by MKTO blasted through my laptop's speakers as I sang along and did my work.
"So what am I to doooo...? I'm still in love with you. I can't believe you threw it all away-ay-ay." As I sang along with the song, I almost completely blocked everything out. I finished all of my work within the next 20 minutes. My mom still wasn't home, so I took this opportunity to practice my guitar. Yes, I play guitar. I've been doing it for about two years now and I love it. Not as much as I love figure skating, obviously, but you know...About ten minutes later, I heard the garage door open.
I rain downstairs and took my Kit Kat and gum, then ran back upstairs. Yelling a short, "Thanks!" to my mom first, of course. I unwrapped the gum and threw it in a side pocket of my bag, then unwrapped the Kit Kat. Taking a bite, I smiled. It was my favorite candy.
Shortly after I was done, I heard my phone ring so I picked it up immediately. I saw Liv's face pop up on the screen.
"Hello?" I answered in a really weird voice.
"Hey Sage! What are you up to today?"
"Not much. I just finished all my homework so now I'm just chilling."
"Good! I'm coming to pick you up, we're going on a walk." Then she hung up. Uhhh, okay then...? That was weird. Sighing, I quickly shut off my laptop and ran downstairs to wait for her. Slipping on my Nikes, I plopped onto the couch and played on my phone for a while. Liv's house was about a 20 minute drive from mine.
I opened the app, Vine, and scrolled through the videos for a while until I saw all of the ones that I hadn't yet. I kept seeing this Nash kid everywhere, with this little blonde girl. People kept revining him. I honestly could have cared less, I had no idea who he was. I had to admit, though, he was cute.
I was on both Twitter and Instagram the rest of the ten minutes that I had to wait. Once I heard Liv's horn honk, I stood up and grabbed my keys.
"Mom, me and Liv are going out! I'll see you later!" I yelled to her upstairs and she yelled 'bye' back. Walking out the door, I locked the bottom lock only before closing it. I ran to Liv's car and waited for her to walk out and lock it.
"So why did you call me all of a sudden and ask to walk with me?" I asked her. She just shrugged.
"I was bored."
"Ah, I see." I answered before rolling my eyes, but I smiled. The rest of the walk was nice, we just talked the entire time. Nothing special. We talked about random shit, laughing all the while. I'm pretty sure I heard a few people come out of their houses and yell at us to keep it down. Which only made us laugh harder. After about a 20 minute walk, we made it back to my house.
"Wanna take a walk over to Barnes and Noble?" I asked and Liv nodded. It was a pretty short walk, only about five minutes from my house. While we were there, we got Starbucks and some desserts.
Nice way to end a Monday night, am I right?

Yes, I know, it's boring, and I'm sorry about that. This is kind of just a filler chapter. I've been really busy with stuff, and I know that's a bad excuse, but my grades come first. I seriously am struggling with Math, though, so I really need to focus on that. Plus, I just haven't been feeling this story lately. I'm not in a One Direction mood, anymore, to be honest. I've kinda migrated to MAGcon stuff, which is why Nash is mentioned in this. Even though he's not a part of it anymore.
But, regardless, I wanna continue with this, but I also really wanna do a MAGcon fanfic too. Just not right now, I need to come up with ideas for it. And this, but yeah...anyway! I'll start updating more once school lets out on May 30th. See ya later!
Oh, and happy Cinco de Mayo everybody!
