You, Lyon and Ur are trudging through the snow, trying to find a lost friend.
"How do we know we're getting close?" The boy asked
"We'll kno--"
A sudden beam shot straight rapidly where you were standing. You would have been burned to a crisp if it weren't for Lyon pulling you towards him.
"I think we're here..." You said breathlessly as memories from your parents' death flashed through your mind.
'Don't make me mess up this time...'
"I think it's best if we split up. We have a better chance in finding Gray." Ur explained
"B-But I--"
"I'll be fine Lyon." You smiled as you gingerly placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Promise?"
You hugged him tightly: "Absolutely."
You and Ur started running into the rubble, with Lyon watching your disappearing figure.
"Be safe..."

You dived to side as another energy beam was cast in your direction.it
'Where the heck is he!?'
You screamed as another explosion came from your right-- startling you.
"Ice make..."
Your head swiveled violently to that voice. You started running to it. A voice that you knew all to well and missed. You ran faster as you saw an energy beam being cast towards him.
"GRAY!!!" You shouted as tears started to drip down your cheeks.
"Y-Y/n?! W-what are you doing here?! I told you to--"
You cut him off as you tackled him to the ground as the light shot passed, just lightly grazing your shoulder. You cried out in pain as you shriveled in the ground as the burning sensation spread all over your body. Gray held you close, murmuring nonsense and cursing at Deliora.
"Can you walk?"
"It's nothing, I'm fine."
"You're an idiot, you know that..." You smiled
"Me?! You risked your life to save me!!"
"Your lucky I haven't slapped you, for running off like that." You threatened menacely as you stood up.
He shivered. The air suddenly getting way colder than it was before.
"C'mon, we got to find the others" You said as you grabbed his hand and started running.
'I swear that girl drives me crazy'

"How do we know we've found them?"
A blinding blue light shot upwards to the sky. The light never stopped shining brightly as you and Gray watched dumbfounded by the sudden change of events.
"Is that Ur?" You asked.
"Nah, that's too obvious. Looks to me more like Lyon."
"Lyon! How would he know how to do such a powerful spell?!"
"He stole it..." Gray grumbled, however you did not fully hear him.
'He sold it? Sold what? How does Lyon even make money?!'
Gray dragged you towards the light. When you got there, you wish you would've stayed back a bit longer, as Lyon was standing in the middle of a platform with a very powerful stance. He had a psychopathic look, which made you shiver. He looked like a different person.
'What happened to you?'
Ur yelled at him, trying to change his mind about defeating Deliora by himself.
"Lyon!!!" You screamed.
He gasped and spun around. Never leaving his stance.
"Listen, I know that this isn't normal for you, and I know that you don't want to do this. Just please, PLEASE listen to me!! I really care about you Lyon, and it hurts me to see what you are doing right now! Please stop Lyon. Please..."
For once, the poor boy was left speechless. He couldn't continue. Not with his love pleading him to stop. All he's ever been is be selfish and not caring about others. And her... how stupid he's been! Ignoring her and pushing her off to the side as he focused on surpassing Ur. He's an idiot...
Yet, he couldn't move. Not an inch. He knew the spell and stance is too powerful for him to move.
'I'm almost there...' He thought as his selfishness took over his body.
'I'm sorry Y/n... please forgive me...'
He was suddenly stopped in completing the spell as Ur froze Lyon in place.
You looked back at Ur shocked.
"Ur... your leg!?" Gray shouted
"Yeah... I lost it during this battle. The magic of ice-make is beautiful isn't it?" She explained.
Tears brimmed in your and Gray's eyes as you saw her leg was covered in ice and limping from the lack of weight and size.
A sudden whizzing came from your left ear, as you turned around and your eyes became the size of saucers as Deliora's beam was getting closer to where you and Gray were. There is no way you could escape that, nor could anyone save you in the nick of time. You shut your eyes as you got ready for the impact.
'This is it'. You thought as the beam was centimeters from your face.
'Goodbye'. The last thing you heard was your name being called out by Gray as loud as a gong.
