I giggled and kicked the ball around, with the Novad kids. I loved being here. I've lived here for sixteen years. I was the only human on this planet. The parents are the leader of the Novads, I've gotten along with them very well. We are skilled warriors and I'm very good. Since I was trained since I could pick up a staff. My mother and Father tell me that we were under the Galra's control once till five paladins came along and freed us. I loved her telling me that story. It was an amazing story. Ever since then I wanted to meet these paladins and go into space. I smiled and ran off, it was about noon judging by the sun. I ran around town and got home. I grabbed the staff and went out back and Dad was ready to spar. I smiled and walked over. Good thing it's wooden and not the real deal. I might've done something with mine and made it into a scythe.

"Ready dear?" I nodded and got my stance and leaped at him he blocked my attack and I charged at him again. He moved his staff quickly and knocked mine out of my hands. He swiped it from under me and I fell flat on my back. Jesus.

"Ouch." I muttered. Dad smiled.

"You alright honey." I nodded.

"Yeah."

"Sir the paladins are back!" One of the guards came running in. I looked at Father. He nodded.

"Honey go get your nice clothes on. Bring the Paladins to my home, and get my wife from the daycare." The guard nodded and Father helped me up. I quickly put my staff to the side and ran to my room. I got on the nicest outfit that I had (up top). I quickly went to the front door by father. Soon my mother was home. I bet I stick out like a sore thumb. I mean I'm not a gray-ish green color like them. Not as tall or have a long tail, but my parents love me. That's all that matters. We stood there and soon the door opened. There were five guys and two girls. The girl that caught my eye was wearing green armor. They took off the helmets and I got a better look at her. She has short brown hair and honey colored eyes. Wow. The girl with white hair walked towards us and bowed.

"I'm Princess Allura and I'm here to talk to you about a treaty and your help." My father and mother nodded.

"Right this way." My mother smiled. "Dear why don't you take the others to the back yard. I nodded.

"Yes mother." Princess Allura and the guy with orange hair followed I looked at the people before me. The guy in blue had a smug look on his face. "Follow me." I said turning on my heels and I made sure that they followed me to the back yard.

Pidge's pov

*Few minutes earlier*

"Paladins to the bridge!" Allura yelled over the intercom. I quickly ran out of my room. I had my suit on already which was good just incase we were going into battle. Everyone soon got there and Allura smiled at us. "There you are, good."

"What's wrong?" Shiro asked.

"Nothing, but we are going to see some old friends. Not really friends of ours..." Coran was rambling on.

"They knew my father and the old Paladins that were on control of the lions. We need to set a new treaty and see if we can count on them with the war of Zarkon." Allura explained. We all nodded. "We need you guys to come with."

"Yes Allura." Shiro said. He was like space Dad. We all nodded. Everyone left and I stayed.

"So how are we seeing?"

"They are called Novad, they are very skilled warriors and gentle and kind." I nodded.

"Okay, so they might be able to help up." Allura nodded.

"They once were under control of the Galra, my father and the old paladins helped free them and since then we have had a treaty the treaty is almost up so I need to establish a new one."
