Ryder's Pov.
"Do you need a ride?" I asked hopefully.
"No thank you. My car is at the frat house." Gigi says.
"Do you need me to walk you there?" I asked. Hopefully she says yes.
"You can if you want to." Gigi says smiling at me.
"I can. Come on." I said leading her out of my house.
"Thank you for walking me back Ryder." Gigi says smiling at me. God I love her smile. Is this what it feels like to have a mate? I hate this feeling, but at the same time I love it. I can get use to this. Besides it's not like Gigi is hideous. She's actually drop dead gorgeous.
"It's my pleasure. We should meet up sometime soon and talk about this mate stuff." I suggested.
"Um yeah we should. You have my number right?" Gigi asks.
"Yeah." I said. Would it be weird if I prank call her? I hope not.
"Well here's my car. Bye." Gigi says awkwardly.
"Bye." I said. I should have hugged her damn. It's too late now. I watched her get into the car and start the engine. She waves at me and her car disappears on the road. What should I do now?
Angie's Pov.
Where the hell is Gigi?! First she leaves me alone at the party, now she doesn't answer my calls. Damn her. Speaking of the devil guess who text me? Gigi.
Gigi: Hey gurla :)
Angie: Don't hey gurla me bitch
Gigi: Calm down I'll explain later come to my house. You know where the spare key is right?
Angie: Yeah i do. Bye
Gigi: Bye ily
Now she bosses me around. I guess I deserve it. I need to stop allowing her to control me. I need to stand my ground and tell her no, I don't want to come to your house. I just feel bad because she lost most of her friends. I'll get over it soon.
"Who was texting you sis?" Cody asks.
"Gigi." I said .
"What happened with her?" Cody asks. He's so nosy.
"I don't know. But i have to go to her house so bye." I said running to the garage. He's in charge. My mom thinks I need a babysitter, but I don't.
"I didn't give you permission to leave." Cody shouts from the living room.
"No matter how much I love him, I wish he would go back to his dorm. Besides I'm a vampire. I can't die. Well unless someone uses wood. But they won't.
Gigi's Pov.
She needs to hurry up. How did I beat her here? Like what the fuck.
"Hey bitch." Angie exclaims bursting into my room.
"Hey girl." I said smiling at her.
"So do you have anything you need to apologize for?" Angie asks playing coy with me.
"Look, I'm sorry for leaving you alone, but close the door and sit down. This will shock you." I said excitedly.
Angie closes the door and sits on my pink couch.
"Spill the beans." Angie says.
"Ok at the party i met this guy-"
"Did you have sex you bad girl?" Angie asks.
"Hell to the no. You know me better than that. Any who his name is Ryder. And he's a.. a-a-a-"
"Spit it out already!!"
"A vampire and he's my mate." I said shyly.
"You met a vampire?" Angie asks.
"Look I'm not crazy. I swear." I plead.
"I know. I'm a vampire too." Angie says smiling.
"So by Ryder do you mean the next in line leader of Vampires?" Angie asks impatiently.
"Um yeah why? I also met his friend--"
"Andrew!! You are so awesome. Do you know what this mean!!?" Angie exclaims jumping up and down.
"Um no I don't know what this means." I said.
"Well you have to introduce me to Andrew. I bet he's so nice. Mean guys always have a nice best friend. So Andrew must be the nice best friend!!" Angie exclaims. I love how excited she is, but this is supposed to be about me. Not her.
"But what should I do about Ryder? He's so old."
"Just ride this out. He's not getting any older and pretty soon you won't either." Angie says smiling at me. At least someone is excited.
"I don't think our relationship will last long. I can tell."I said.
"Gigi don't be stupid. You are his soul mate. You guys are stuck with each other until the end or should I say forever."
"But I'm so young. And he wants to meet with me Tuesday."
"Well you have a couple days to wrap your head around everything. I just want to warn you about something. Having power is a great thing, but it also brings jealousy. Female vampires all over the world wants Ryder and you have him. Be careful, but I know that it will work out between you two." Angie says with a smile. i hope she's right. I'm kind of nervous now.
