Today was a good day. I had just got home from my last day of highschool and graduation was in three days. I got home around 12pm, seeing tonight is prom night. I had to look my absolute best for Austin. Our colors were decided as Black and Champagne and I'm just in love with my dress.
"Camila, come on. Its time to go shopping" she says and I squeal in excitement as I go to the salon to get my hair, nails, and toes done.
"Camila I just want to say how proud of you I am" my mom says as we get our toes done.
"Mami, I kn..........."
"No just listen. I know we haven't always had a good relationship but you moved on from our past and we have worked so hard between the moving to America to my Cancer situation to Sofi and your father going through there own battles and through it all....you've been so strong. Tonight is about you babygirl and you have finally made it. I love you" she says and my eyes are cloudy as I smile at my mom. I never knew she knew how I felt through it all.
"I love you too mommy" I say as I kiss her hand and we go back to the house.
