(Lauren's Pov)
"You lied to me" I say having her pinned to the door and she sighs while looking down.
"I'm sorry" she says and I feel better knowing she means it, but I'm still pissed off.
"Why, why lie to me" I say annoyed and she scoffs.
"ANSWER ME" I yell in anger and she flinches in fear. I sigh before running my hands through my hair. She acts as if she doesn't see me now and it stings a little.
"Camila please......please help me to understand. How do you not know how important your life is" I say and she looks up at me.
"He made me choose. It was either me or you. I chose for you. Lauren you have a family, friends, a bloodline. You have so much going on, what do I have" she says quietly and I instantly comfort her. I rub her cheek gently and her breath hitches. I gritt my teeth as I think of things I shouldn't be thinking and speak.
"Your life is more valuable than mines any day. You could be a barley living women, your still greater. Do you know why" I say and she nods her head no. I want to say because your my fucking mate but I can't, not just yet.
"Because your alive, I'm dead. I died a long time ago" I say and her eyes well up.
"Lauren, I can't feel my hand" she says and I look down. Asshole snapped her palm into two. I grab her other hand gently and take her to the living room.
"Ally, I need your help" I say and she nods as I quickly pack up a bag for a two days. I get some stuff for her and I take some blood bags for me. I go down stairs and see Normani is upset with me.
"How bad" I say and she sighs.
"You have to take the trip. She's not secured enough for her to be even opened an inch, without them (Vampire Doctors) wanting to tear into her. I'm advanced in this, however.... I don't have any of my equipment. It is all back at the hospital. I'm so sorry" she says and Normani scoffs.
"I'm not" she says and Camila frowns.
"I gave her a bandage that will keep her bone set for 36 hours. That should be more than enough time to get there. Lauren, please be careful" Dinah says and Normani laughs.
"Or don't, who really cares about loyalty anymore" Normani says and I shake as Camila slowly watches me.
"Thank you for your help you two. Normani, he was my brother. If anything, I should be the one morning. However, I feel no guilt or a inch of regret. I have already informed my parents, they don't care. They have Megan, Me and Taylor still" I say and she glares at me.
"Fuck you Lauren. I forgot this was the Lauren show. Sometimes I think you let that crown get to your head, just like........."
"I dare you" I growl and she laughs.
"Are you going to kill me too Lauren. Maybe it will be easier that way" Normani says looking like a terrible mess and I scoff.
"Suck it up. He was your boyfriend and nothing else. You won't reject but choose to not except your mate either. Thats not my fucking fault or business" I say and she laughs.
"Your right. It isn't any of your fucking business" she says and I put my arm out. Camila comes near me and I whisper into her ear.
"Hey, hey. I would never hurt Mani. I love her, I'm just upset with her right now" I say and spot normani frowning. She stands up and laugh.
"I'm sorry, you killed my boyfriend remember. You have a twisted way of showing love. You going to kill me to Lauren" she says and I scoff.
"Nosey bitch. And no, I wouldn't dream of it" I say and turn as she screams.
