Killua had finally stopped at the Second Phase's sights. He looked around, trying to pick out the two cheerful kids before stopping his eyes on the brunette. She had her eyes closed as she leaned against a tree and chewed on a chocolate Pocky stick.

Misaki's eyes opened as she seen the grinning white haired boy looking at her. She rolled her eyes before sliding further down the tree. Killua looked at Misaki with an raised eyebrow. "Why are you always leaning against something and half asleep whenever I see you" he asked.

Misaki didn't answer, ignoring the boy. Killua ginned in amusement. "You heard me, Saki?" "No. I'm right next to you and can't hear a thing you're saying, and totally not ignoring you" she said sarcastically.

Levi

Gon and Levi were looking for their missing friends in worry. Finally, they spotted Leorio and Kurapika along with a boy they didn't know that had the tag 53.

Kurapika held blades in his hand and Leorio held a stick in his hand as he faced Hisoka, who had killed several men with a card. Levi tried not to laugh at the useless item Leorio thought would defend them.

Gon pulled Levi behind a bush before they watched the scene. "They all fail" Hisoka said, referring to the dead bodies on the ground. "Only three of you remain" Hisoka said before looking at the three.

"Damn you" Leorio said as Kurapika got into fighting stance. "Shall I start... with you?" Hisoka walked towards the three.

"When I give you a cue, disperse in different directions" number 53 said. Levi arched her eyebrows as she tried to figure out what disperse meant. "What?" Leorio asked. "He's strong. Every killer has a movement of hesitation when he is about to kill a person. But he has none of that!"

Everyone looked at Hisoka. "Certainly we have no chance of winning against him even if we move simultaneously..." "How would you know without trying" Leorio yelled, cutting Kurapika off.

"I suppose you, too, have a strong motivation to become a Hunter. I know you're not gonna like it, but this time you better run." Everyone ran in different directions.

"Smart move" Hisoka mused as he watched the men run. "For that, I'll grant you 10 seconds." The clown began to count as he stared at the panicked men in a little bit too much amusement.

Finally, he got to 10. "And now...who do I chase down first?" As he questioned himself he looked at Leorio, who had walked in front of Hisoka.

"Don't strain your brain. I'm not the sort to just suck it up...WITHOUT A QUICK PAYBACK!!" "Wow, what an admiration" Levi said in awe. The man ran up to Hisoka, with the useless stick.

He swung at the clown, only for his stick to be met by the ground. The clown had disappeared from Leorio's point of view. He now stood behind Leorio with an amused grin. "Leorio" Gon muttered as he got a proper hold of his fishing rod.

Before the clown could touch Leorio, a hook smacked against his face. "Gon, Hisoka's a clown, not a fish" the girl whisper shouted.

Gon came out of his hiding spot and was now in front of the two men. "GON" Leorio yelled in shock. Hisoka faced the boy, his smile not being defaulted. "Not bad." Gon got in fighting position. "A fishing rod. How original. May I see..."

"Hey, forget something!" Leorio was just about to punch the amused clown, but instead, Hisoka's fist collided against his cheek. The punch sent him flying, along with the blood that escaped his mouth.

In response, Gon swung his fishing rod again, ready to attack. But Hisoka grabbed onto his neck. Almost immediately, Levi was behind the clown with a pocket knife in her hand.

"And who might you be" Hisoka asked as he picked the girl up by the leg, causing her to hang upside down. "And what might you be doing?" The girl grinned.

"Oh, just hanging around" she joked before looking for a laugh. The clown let out a chuckle. She looked at Gon, who looked at the girl in worry. "Ahem, now is probably not the time" she muttered as she made a serious face.

"Here to help your friends. There's some lads." He put the two kids back on the ground. The two took greedy gulps of air.

"Don't worry, I'm done with him" the clown promised as he bent down to the two's size. Levi looked at the unconscious man who was twitching uncontrollably before letting out a shudder.

"You two will make good Hunters." The magician smiled at the kids before a beeping sound came from his pocket.

Hisoka pulled out a phone before answering it. "Hisoka, get a move on. The second Phase is about to start" the caller said impatiently. "Check. Be right there."

He got up and walked towards Leorio. "Friendship is a fine thing." He swung Leorio over his shoulder. "You okay on your own" he asked, followed by silence.

"Good lads" he said before giving out strings of laughs. Once the clown was out of sight, Gon fell to his knees. Levi pouted as she glared at the forest.

"Stupid magician clowns, always punching your friends in the face and knocking them out" the girl mumbled.

The albino grinned as he saw the raven haired boy and salmon haired girl before walking towards them. "You made it" he congratulated. The two grinned back at him. "But how did you find the applicants" he asked in curiosity.

"Gon followed the scent of Leorio's cologne, he's so awesome" Levi gushed in awe. Killua sweat dropped. "Gon, you're weird." The words caused Gon to smile and scratch the back of his head sheepishly.

Suddenly, a big noise was heard. Everyone looked at the salad gate that was now opening. Behind was a gigantic man and a girl who sat down. There were stoves lined up. Everyone walked towards them, making a big group.

"Hello" the girl said. Misaki looked at the two who were talking before lazily walking in the front of the crowd. A sudden roar shook the ground, making everyone snap their attention to the two.

The girl and boy looked unfazed by it. "Are you hungry Buhara" she asked the giant man. He nodded. "You bet." Everyone started to mutter in disbelief as they began to notice that the growl came from the man's stomach.

"I'm Menchi, and he's Bodora. We are Gourmet Hunters. We are the examiners for the Second Phase. In this phase you will be..." Everyone gave Menchi a nervous glance. "Cooking!" The group started laughing.

"Is this some kind of joke, cooking?" a man said in disbelief. Misaki felt Menchi's annoyance. She forced a smile. "Yes, and what will they be cooking" Menchi asked Bodora. He licked his lips. "You will be cooking any pork in the forest." At the words, Misaki quickly disappeared.

Killua sighed in annoyance as he noticed that Misaki had decided to disappear yet again.
