Chapter 9: Spell Book!

Flashback!
   Cari landed her cloud outside of Alistair's house and made the cloud disappear as they all got off. Alice walked out to attend her garden and smiled when she saw them. "Alistair and everyone else has been looking for you two." Alice stated as she gestured towards Cari and Lizzie. "Are they in there?" Lizzie asked. "Sure are, go right in." Alice replied and the girls and Daring smiled at the curious Alice in Wonderland.
     The three of them walked in and the group stood up when they saw them. "There you guys are." Tammy stated. "Where have you guys been?" Dina asked. "My palace." Lizzie replied. "Of course." Kitty stated. "What's going on with your mom?" Tony asked and Lizzie smiled. She went into her purse and grabbed some folded papers. She unfolded the papers and showed everyone. "What is that?" Bunny asked as they all looked closer. "The spell my mom needs in her spell book." Lizzie replied. "How did you get that?" Marchness asked. "I snuck into my mom's closet room and found it under a floor board." Lizzie replied. "Smart." Marchness stated. "Shouldn't you have gotten the whole book?" Tony asked. "I couldn't." Lizzie replied. "But you should have." Cari stated. Lizzie sighed and rolled her eyes. "If I did then she would have known anyways." Lizzie stated. "Smart." Tony stated and Cari sighed as she stepped up so everyone can see her. "Your mother is not stupid. She will know the pages are torn out and she could probably find a spell to fix it or something. But if you would have taken the whole book, then there would be no resolving it." Cari explained. "You could be happy that I got something." Lizzie stated as she held up the pages. "We don't have anything, not really." Cari stated. "I don't believe you." Lizzie stated. "Are you going to doubt your own mom?" Cari asked. "Are you going to doubt your own best friend?" Lizzie asked and they both went silent. "That's what I thought." Lizzie stated. Cari put up her hair and waved her hand to make a cloud appear. "Where are you going?" Dina asked. "To stop this stupid curse." Cari replied as she got on and used wind to open the door with force. "What's that supposed to mean?" Alistair asked. "You'll see." Cari replied and she floated away.

Real World!
      Lily woke up early and walked downstairs to find Charlotte already awake and had coffee made. "Charlotte, and I thought I wake up early on a daily basis." Lily stated with a smirk and Charlotte laughed. "Yeah, everyone calls me early bird for a reason. I think I wake up earlier then anyone in this town." Charlotte stated. "Maybe." Lily stated. "You want some coffee?" Charlotte asked and Lily nodded. "Yeah." Lily replied. Charlotte poured Lily coffee in a coffee cup and handed it to her. "Thanks." Lily stated as she took a sip. "Anytime." Charlotte stated with a smile. "It's good. You make this yourself?" Lily asked. "Yeah, I did." Charlotte replied. "This is nice." Lily stated and Charlotte nodded. "So, are you nervous for today?" Charlotte asked and Lily took a deep breathe. "I don't get nervous." Lily stated. "I see." Charlotte stated. "But surprisingly, I am a tiny bit nervous." Lily stated and Charlotte nodded. "I wish you the best of luck." Charlotte stated and Lily smiled. "Thanks." Lily stated.
     Lily grabbed her purse and had her coffee in her hands as she opened the door to see Madison about to knock. She put down her hand and smiled at Lily. "Madison. Hi." Lily greeted. "Hey, Lil." Madison greeted. "Mads! I'm in here!" Charlotte called and Madison walked in as Lily closed the door behind her. She turned around to face them. Charlotte put on a green jacket and had her hair in a side braid. "I made an extra coffee for you on the counter." Charlotte stated and Madison smiled. "Thanks." Madison stated as she grabbed it. "Anytime." Charlotte stated. "Did you know she was coming over this morning?" Lily asked confused. "Yeah. She comes over every morning." Charlotte replied. "Really? Why?" Lily asked. "She picks up everyone in her van and we all get breakfast together and then she takes us to our destination." Charlotte replied and Lily smiled. "That's a nice tradition." Lily stated. "Yeah." Charlotte agreed. "You should come." Madison stated with a smile. "I wish I could, but it's my first day and I want to get going." Lily stated and they nodded. "I understand." Charlotte stated. "Maybe tomorrow." Madison suggested. "Yeah, maybe." Lily agreed. "Are you going to meet at Madness Bed and Breakfast for dinner?" Madison asked. "Maybe. Depends." Lily replied and then she walked out.

Flashback!
     Cari flew to the palace on her cloud. She flew through Lily's bedroom window and made the cloud disappear. She landed on her feet and looked around. She slowly opened the door and saw a guard. She went into her purse and grabbed a vial that contained white fairy dust and she smiled. She walked out and to the guard. She blew some of the white fairy dust and the guard fell asleep. She walked across the hall and turned the corner. She walked clear across another hall and slowly opened the door at the end. She saw no one was inside so she walked in and closed the door behind her. She remembered how Lizzie said it was under a floorboard in the queen's closet. She opened a door and went inside, closing it behind her. She looked around and knew it was the closet. She walked around until she stopped, when she felt a loose floorboard under her feet, and she smiled. She picked it up and looked at the book. She opened it and went to find torn pages, but she didn't. She found the spell and gasped as her eyes widened. She knew it. The Queen of Hearts used a spell to fix the pages so she could have them back. She heard a noise and went into her purse and pulled out an old book that her dad doesn't want anymore. She put the book in there and put the floorboard back. Then she went up against the wall and put herself in an invisible cocoon with her caterpillar powers. Ms. Hearts walked in and went up to a red and black queenly dress. She picked it up, along with black heels and a red handbag. She went back into her room and closed the door behind her. Cari made herself appear again and snuck out the window.

Real World!
     Lily was the Sheriff now, and she liked the idea. She was a detective back in New York, before Madison came and got her. Then Alison and Rachel walked in. Lily was sitting at the desk in the station and looked over to them. "May I help you?" Lily asked. "Yes, actually. You can." Alison replied and Lily nodded. "Okay." Lily stated. Alison and Rachel pulled up a chair and they both sat down. "Rachel hasn't had a stable job for quite a while.... She isn't particularly liked." Alison stated and Lily nodded with a smile. "So I heard." Lily stated and Rachel laughed. Alison looked at them weirdly and then shook it off. "Anyways, since you guys.... Understand each other in some ways, I was thinking she could be your deputy." Alison suggested. "Yeah, yeah I think I can work something out." Lily agreed and Alison smiled as she stood up and so did Rachel. Alison looked at Lily, and sighed when she realised Lily wasn't going to stand up. Most people stand up when she does, she's just use to it. "You both start today." Alison stated. "Sounds good to me." Rachel agreed with a smile. Alison turned towards the door when Daniella walked in. "Ali." Daniella stated. "Ella." Alison stated. "Cece and Raina cent me. Their too busy to call the Sheriff's department themselves." Daniella stated. Lily stood up. "What happened?" Lily asked as tears appeared in Daniella's eyes. "There was an accident. Hope and her twin sister Pheobe. Then the other car had Gisele." Daniella stated. Hope and Pheobe are really Rapunzel's daughters, Holly and Poppy O'Hair. Gisele is really Ginger Breadhouse, daughter of the Candy Witch, and the chief of Madness Bed and Breakfast. "Are.... Are they okay?" Alison asked. "As of now, yes." Daniella replied. Alison hugged Daniella as she hugged back. Then Lily and Rachel rushed off.

Flashback!
     Cari flew back into Alistair's house and made the cloud disappear as she landed on her feet. Everyone stood up and walked towards her. Lizzie let go of Daring's hand and walked really close to Cari. "Care, where have you been?" Lizzie asked. "Somewhere." Cari replied. "We've been worried sick about you." Tammy stated. "I know, and I'm sorry." Cari apologized. "What's that?" Bunny asked, noticing her book in her hands. Cari lifted it up to show everyone. "My mother's spell book." Lizzie replied and Cari nodded. "Yeah." Cari agreed. "You went to my palace." Lizzie realised. "Yeah." Cari stated. "What's the point when we have the pages?" Tony asked. "This." Cari replied as she opened the book and showed everyone the pages that Lizzie had ripped out. Lizzie gasped at what she saw. "I thought you ripped those pages out." Dina stated. "I did." Lizzie stated. "Then how is it in the book?" Dina asked. "I don't know." Lizzie replied. "If there's one thing us Wonderlandians know, its that nothing is impossible." Alistair stated. "The first page of the book is a restoring spell. She's been using it to restore the ripped pages." Cari answered everyone's questions. "You were right." Lizzie stated surprised. "Don't act all surprised. I am the second wisest of Wonderland, after my dad of course." Cari stated and they both laughed. Then they hugged. "I'm sorry, I hate fighting with you." Lizzie stated with a smile. "It's okay, I hate fighting with you too." Cari agreed with a smile. They pulled away from each other and laughed.
