I look down at the girl lying on our couch.
"What do we do with her now?" Darin shrugs.
"I don't know...I had suggested leaving her to die-" I quickly turn and glare at him.
"No." Darin makes a gesture of some sorts at me.
"That's what you said before too." I crouch next to the couch and start to move the girl's hair out of her face.
"That's because I have a heart, unlike you." Darin grimaced, and took a step back.
"Ouch, that hurts." I look a him and foreign surprise.
"Oh God! Did the all mighty Darin say he was hurt?" He returns my look with a glare.
"You know what I mean..." I turn away.
"Do I?" I listen for his response, but hear none. I turn around and look at him. "Trying to strangle me with your mind won't work." He drops his hands from his head and goes back to his original stance.
