Author's Note (A/N): Bryce is 18 in this story, Cayla is 19, and Cam is 21 (just pretend😂)
I've been in the Bahamas for about three weeks, and this last week I spent most of my time with Cameron. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't having a good time with him. Cameron dropped me off at my beach house a few minutes ago, and before he left I knew he was about to kiss me.
I had told Bryce that we were just friends, and we were...but I don't know anymore. I had really enjoyed my time with him, because he was such a sweet, goofy guy and was totally laid-back.
It's like something took a hold of me as I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back, not regretting the moment at all. It's not like Bryce and I are dating. Nothing's really that serious with us. I like Bryce a lot, but I just feel like he's not ready; like he's still attached to Halle.
I get it, they have stuff to sort out, but I don't want to be stringed along when they get back together. So, I'm keeping my options open. There's nothing wrong with that, is there?
Someone will get hurt, my conscience tells me, but I just shut it out.
As I set my stuff on the counter and check my phone, I notice a picture of me on Cameron's story:

I smile at it, replying under it with a simple "❤️." I close out of Snapchat and open up my messages, seeing one from Mikey. Mikey and I met about a year ago, and have been really good friends since. My friend Raven had dated him, and we all became really close. Sadly, they broke up about a month ago.
As my friendship with Mikey developed, some of his friends had reached out to me through social media, one of them being Bryce. From there we talked nonstop, and FaceTimed almost every night, eventually spending time together in person. I feel like nobody understands me quite like he does, and I've never been so into someone.
He always has me thinking about him; wondering what he's doing and how his day is, if he's thinking about me and what he's thinking about.
I pull myself out of my thoughts as my phone vibrates for the second time.
iMessage Mikey😊 Heyyoooo, I just thought I should warn you that Bryce is a lil angry. He came to my house all upset because of some picture on Cameron's snap... idk what's wrong w him , he's totally freaking out Delivered: 9:46 p.m.
