"Oh no" I say to myself and we both make our way to the entrance. I could feel Audrey's skin crawl, I knew she was scared. I grabbed her hand and gave it a squeeze. She spins her head around to see me sliming at her. "Don't worry it's ok" she gives me a little smile. "I'll protect you Riley, they won't hurt you ok".
We are near the entrance door when we here Ava call out "well, well, well look what the car dragged in". "Um Ava its cat". Shut up Bailey"!!
We both try to hold back our giggles but ended up laughing our heads off.
"What are you two laughing at, get away from my shop, especially you Riley, I don't want my Noah drooling over a beast like you".
"This isn't YOUR shop Ava it's everyone's so step aside me and my best friend Riley have some shopping to do" says Audrey with her hands on her hips. Ava walks up to Audrey, circling her.
"I'm ashamed Audrey, you were such a good little girl until you started hanging out with her". "I can't believe a dumbass like you has any friends at all, I mean look at you, your hideous".
Ava and Bailey started to laugh, then Ava pushes Audrey to the ground. I had to do something. "LEAVE HER ALINE YOU SKANK"!! Everyone went quiet, I've never yelled at anyone before, it felt good. "Aww is little Riley trying to protect her friend". I glare at the both of them.
"Listen to me Riley when I say this". "Your worthless, you don't mean anything to anyone, even Noah". "He told me the other day that he just hates hanging around you, he'd never ask you to the dance he's already asked me"!!
For some reason I could feel my heart shatter into a million pieces, but why?
I felt my face burning up and water running down my face. I had enough, I can't take being mocked or bullied anymore!!
