Chapter Five

Why did you do that" I demand.

He sighs at me and roll his eyes.

"I was just trying to make you feel better ease up Ri".

I roll my eyes then started to laugh.

He doubtfully said "why you laughing"

I look at him with a smile on my face.
"I'm not gonna fall for you that easily Noah". I say sarcastically.

He nods. "I have a girlfriend". He mutters.

I roll my eyes and look at him with a straight face.

"Yeh she's...... something".

He puts his hands on either side of his face and places his elbows on the desk. I look at him with half a smile and he smiles back.

All of a sudden Ava stands in front of my desk with her arms crossed tightly and an evil stare.

She slams her hands down on my desk and the whole room goes silent. Me and Noah both jump, almost out our our seats and stare at her.

"Why are you with him ugly" she snarls.

"I-I-I" I stutter.

She goes to hit me in my face when she is suddenly stopped by Noah.

He stood up and pushed in front of my table with a disappointed glare.

"Leave her alone Ava". He growls.

My jaw dropped when he said that. No one has ever stood up for me before.

I look at Ava with a childish grin and her face is fuming with rage. She grabs his hand and tugs on it tightly.

"Why are you defending her" she asked.

He shook his head and ripped his hand out of hers.

"Ava, we're through"!
