The Black Figure

   Briar Jones was walking out of her school.  She walks through the woods that no one has ever dared to step foot in.  When she was walking, she started to hear footsteps behind her. Briar looks back.  Nothing there.  She keeps walking and they get louder and louder. She started to run.  Then she stopped,  Briar looked behind herself. Nothing. But when she turned around again,  she ran head first into a dark, cloaked figure, Briar looked up and blacked out.

   Griffin Valery was walking home, when the same thing happened. He took his normal parts throw the mud-coated swamp everyone said was too weird to go into but he didn't mind it. He didn't hear footsteps though, he heard growling. He turned to see this burly figure staring at him. He ran. He ran like hell. Instead of running into his father, he ran head first into the figure. He stepped back on the rocky, muddy terrain to look at the figure but when he did he blacked out.

William Marzolla was walking through the woods of Wales with his friend Bella. 

"Do you hear that?". Bella asked.

"No what do you hear-" He was cut off by Bella screaming.

 He looked back to where she was, there was no Bella anymore. She screamed again. He ran in the direction of her voice. She screamed again only to hear a loud growl along with another one of Bella's screams.

"Bella, where are you!" William yelled. He got no answer.
     He stopped to catch his breath and looked at his surroundings. He noticed there's a trail of blood on the ground. He was getting closer when he heard the crunching of bones. He looked in the direction of the noises to find a dog like creature eating his best friend.  His only friend. Dead. And it wasn't even a peaceful death, she was ripped apart. Bones ripped from her body. Blood everywhere. The beast looked up and growled when it saw Will. He slowly backed away but ran into something. When he turned around everything went black.
