You may be wondering right now. Saiki Kusuo is now a detective? I thought he hated helping others.
Well you're wrong. I do like to help others sometimes, and the pay is good. Coffee Jelly is always in the coffee room, and the place is usually very closed off. So bugs are not always an issue.
The only downside to working here is coming straight towards my desk.

It's Nendou, and he's looking at me with a weird face as usual. Though who am I kidding, his face is always weird.
"You wanna join me in this new case?"
Yeah, no.
"C'mon! You haven't worked on a case in forever!"
Which is true, I usually try to avoid solving too many cases. Becoming a famous detective is not on my bucket list. Nendou on the other hand wanted to follow me wherever I went. What a pain. I don't even know how he managed to get in here.
"Hey Saiki."
I know that gruff tone anywhere. Though I don't have to look over my shoulder to know who it is. It's Kuboyasu. The late thug decided to become a detective also. Why must this happen to me. Is it because I made a resolve in my mind that I wanted to become one? Maybe my mind control had something to do with this.
"You need to come and help me, there's this one lady who killed this other lady and that's all I know. I need to know the other's lady's identity and what the other lady's motive was. The one lady-"
Ok that's too many 'lady's' in one sentence.
"Hey! I was here first!"
This is such a hassle. Nendou is acting like he just got denied shotgun in a family car. Is it too much to ask for one day off?
"I think I can help you!"
Oh wow look who's here, it's Kaido. He wants to join these two he can go ahead. Maybe I should just leave.
I get up to go to the coffee room. But Kuboyasu stops me with his arm, he is not looking very impressed.
He also won't be very impressed if I flicked him into outer space either. Get your arm off of me.
This dweeb thinks he's able to help me?
"Oh really?"
At least Kuboyasu has acknowledged the sore truth about this guy.

Kaido's thoughts are a jumbled mess, it's really hard to make out. Well at least his mind is the same as his outer self.
"The other lady is part of Dark reunion! She joined forces not too long ago, the evil society-"
