-A Couple Hours Ago-

"I hate these stupid cults," you complained, once you, Ciel, and Grell were outside the church. Ciel had ordered Sebastian to persuade the young nun into giving you all information, so you waited outside while he worked his magic.

You were one of Ciel's close friends, Lady Y/n. Ciel had brought you along because although you were still human, you strategized extremely well and fought amazingly. You had nothing better to do, and agreed to come along. Or, at least, that was part of it. You had also wanted to see Sebastian again. The two of you were in a official relationship that Ciel knew and supported. Grell was oblivious to this, since you and Sebastian had decided that it really wasn't necessary to tell him.

The three of you had been waiting for around fifteen minutes when you heard some sounds coming from the cottage where Sebastian and the nun were in. You decided to think nothing of it, until you heard the woman let out moans of ecstasy and scream, "I can see the gates of heaven!"

Then, you were aware of what was happening. Your body started turning numb, and cold, tingly feeling that started from your heart and slowly spread. You managed to maintain a cold, unfeeling expression, but inside, you were breaking down. Everything he had told you, all the sweet words he had whispered to you, were evidently a lie. I love you, y/n. Y/n, only you can hold my heart in your hands and manipulate me. You're better than all of them, y/n, so don't think for a moment that they are higher than you. Y/n, you are truly special. You made a demon love.

Like hell.

The only thing you could do was focus on the sound of the blood rushing through your ears, ignore the sympathetic looks of the Earl Phantomhive, and watch the overgrown weeds rustle in the wind.

-Present-

"Lady Y/n, stay for dinner," said Ciel, while Sebastian took off his coat. You had been ignoring the demon butler ever since that happened a couple hours ago. You simply couldn't deal with it.

You were originally going to decline, but you didn't want Sebastian to know that his actions affected you. "Okay, sure," you said. You walked through the lacquered halls decorated with elegant artwork to your room. It was simple, just the way you liked it, with teal walls and black furniture.

Dinner at the Phantomhive estate was no small affair. Even though it was only you and Ciel, the two of you wore especially formal clothing, probably too formal. You looked through your wardrobe to select an evening dress to wear. After much scrutiny, you picked out a black and silver dress that was personally your favorite. It was backless, and had a fairly shallow v-neck in black velvet. It was snug around your torso, and flew out in a gossamer-like material to your ankles. There was a slit from the hip down. At the bottom, the silver fabric adorned the dress like twinkling stars against the night sky. You combed your hair and decided to leave it down, and wore dangling diamond earrings. You were about to leave when you realized that you were still wearing the necklace around your neck. It had a gold chain with a pendant at the bottom: a heart inside of a larger one, in gold, with an infinity symbol connecting the two. It was something Sebastian had given you, and you had treasured it. But now, you knew that you had to let go.

You removed the necklace and replaced it with a diamond one. You usually didn't wear makeup, but today, you applied some mascara and eyeliner as well as blood-red lipstick. You hurriedly left the room, fastwalking down the halls to the dining room.

You arrived to see Ciel already seated. Sebastian walked towards you, leaning down to kiss you as he usually did. You sidestepped and walked towards your seat, your eyes cold and hard as diamonds. "Red wine," you said, treating Sebastian as your butler. You never talked to him like that, not even once. You could see the hurt and shock in Sebastian's eyes, and immediately felt guilty for what you said. However, what he had done was worse.

Sebastian quickly composed himself and bowed before leaving the room. Once he was gone, you let out a sigh of relief. "Y/n, are you okay?" asked Ciel, upon seeing your devastated expression.

"Yeah, it's just that I miss him. I still love him, but I can't deal with him having sex with some random other person. This is just my way of coping, I guess," you said, shrugging.

Ciel just watched you, his cerulean eyes narrowing. "I know he really does love you."

"Then why? Why did he go ahead and have sex with a fucking nun if he fucking loves me? Why did he do it in front of me? Why did he cheat? Why?" you said, ranting.

Ciel was at a loss of words. "Sorry," you said, composing yourself. "I got a little out of hand there."

Sebastian arrived and poured your drinks. He didn't say anything to you or Ciel.

The rest of the dinner went on in silence. Right after you finished your dessert, which was tiramisu, you went back to your room to wipe of all the makeup. Fishing a wipe out of the drawer, you scrubbed at your face until every last trace of the black liquid was gone. Your lipstick had come off while you were eating.

You collapsed in the bed, finally free to cry your eyes out. "Y/n, you look beautiful," you heard a familiar voice say.

You jerked up into a sitting position. "Leave," you said, your voice thick with tears.

Instead of listening to you, he came closer. "Y/n, why are you ignoring me?"

"Why? You fucking know why. It's not like I'm going to be with someone who goes off and has sex with someone, just for information, in front of his then-girlfriend, now ex," you said, your eyes red and swollen.

Sebastian visibly flinched at your outburst. "Y/n, please listen. That wasn't me. The Young Master ordered me to get information, and we have a contract. I didn't want to. Those weren't my actions," said Sebastian, desperation evident in his scarlet eyes.

Your eyes widened in realization. The contract. "Oh my goodness," you whispered.

"If it makes you feel better, I loathed every second of it."

"Sebastian, I'm so sorry," you said, feeling terrible. You had just assumed things without reason.

"Y/n, don't apologize. It's me who should be apologizing," said the raven-haired butler, sitting next to you. He deft hands traced circled on your bare back, leaving trails of fire.

He leaned down and kissed you, his hands going under the slit of your dress to caress your skin. He brought you onto his lap, and said, "Only you can ever do this to me, y/n. Only you."

A/N: Okay, this is my last Kuroshitsuji one for probably a while unless y'all request. Next up are my Haikyuu!! Seven Minutes in Heaven.
