Francis POV

I woke up Kalie sleeping in dad's bed.

"What is it Francis?" she rubbed her tired eyes.

"School" I sighed.

"Awe!" she wined.

"Yep" I was covered in despair.

I dressed her in some clothes mom set out for her.

"Francis you are nice" she giggled while I wiped her face.

"Thanks" I smiled.

She jumped on my back.

"Francis train!" she hugged me.

"Vroom!" I laughed running around dad's room.

"Train doesn't go vroom" she glared at me.

"Francis train is special" I smirked.

"Yay!" she raised her hands.

Mom and dad sighed looking really terrible.

"What happened?!" I became frightened.

"Shut up Frankie" dad sounded really drunk.

"Ryan be nice to Francis, he's just a little boy" mom giggled.

"I'm...just going to school" I sighed.

Kalie held my hand while we walked to the kitchen.

"Carlton take care of mom and dad they gotten themselves drunk" I smiled nervously at Carlton.

"I saw them drinking and talking last night," he sighed.

"But of course I'll take care of them" he folded his arms.

"Thanks" I smiled.

~❤~

"Francis which school do you go to?" Kalie smiled playing with the limousine's driver seat.

"I go to Rexford High school" I patted her head.

"Public school?!" her eyes sparkled.

"Yeah....even though that's dangerous for me but I want to live a normal life like other teenagers" I sighed.

She nodded swinging her legs. We stopped at her school first.

"Bye!" she waved.

"Bye!" I waved back.

The limousine drove off but I saw some students surrounding her.

"Driver stop" I ran out of the limousine as soon as it stopped.

"So you got a daddy huh?" one of the children smirked.

"Yes, and he's so nice!" Kalie smiled.

"But is your real father?"

Kalie froze staring at them.

"I thought so Kalie Williams, you are just a fatherless child" a boy laughed.

The children laughed at her.

"Hey, don't say that!" I said angrily at them.

"And you are?" he smirked.

"Her brother" he folded my arms.

"Brother" the children whispered among each other.

The boy looked at me angrily.

"I know you guys don't have the same father!" he screamed.

"So what, at least she has a loving person who really cares about her. You seem not to have one" I glared at him.
