I ended up taking the girl back to her home in Australia. Her house was small but nice to look at. She had a beautiful array of native plants out the front of her house. I put the tired girl on my back and she wrapped her hands around my neck. I carried her to the front of her house and reached to open the door when I felt sharp teeth dig into my calf. I nearly fell down dropping Alex but I recomposed myself in time. I turned around to see a small dog like mammal with stripes on its back snarling at me. It's teeth looked as sharp as razors and it looked ready to pounce " scar it's OK he's a friend" he heard the girl croak. The small animal instantly backed down " warren let me down " I obliged to her commands. Her feet made a thump as she landed on the ground. She walked over to the door and opened it with a key.

I was lying on her lounge gripping my leg in pain. Alex had let me inside so she could help with the cuts he had gotten. she seemed much better, almost as if nothing had happened. She walked over with a small medical kit and started cleaning the wound " you look like you've done this before " I said. She looked up to meet my eyes "kind of" she continued. The small dog from before climbed into the couch and rested its head on my knee " what kind of dog is he anyway" I asked. she looked very puzzled until something clicked in her head " wait you mean scar. yeah he's not a dog, he's a Tasmanian devil" she explained as the mammal pushed its self into my leg. Alex finished wrapping my leg and headed off to the kitchen "wait there. I'm gonna go make food since you cant really leave" i nodded and she prepared the ingredients.

i scoffed down the hot noodles 'they're delicious' i thought. I looked over to see the girl barely touching the food. I tilted my head in confusion " are you gonna eat?" She was caught off guard by the question. She avoided my gaze and simply answered " its fine. I don't really feel like eating" she stood up and headed to the headed towards her school duffle bag. she pulled out a black and purple note book, she walked over to me and put the note book in front of me "you can look over the notes for tomorrows test while I work if you have any problems come ask me, I'll be in my room" she sighed clearly exhausted. Alex turned around and started to leave but I grabbed her arm "wait there is something I need to ask you. how did you prevent lash and speed from using there powers?" I demanded. I physically felt her body stiffen as she cussed under her breath. She stuttered a few words out before going completely silent, I noticed her face hand turned a bit red and she had tears threatening to fall. I quickly turned her around and embraced her " hey, hey its ok" I whispered as she wept. She mumbled into my chest and i let out a confused sound "I said Biological blast. I made a device that allows me to turn off mutated cells or in other words it temporarily turns off your powers" my eyes widened realizing what she was saying 'so really if she wanted, she could defeat me or even Will' her pocket started buzzing before letting out a cute chime. She slowly pulled out the small device and looked at who was calling. she pulled away from me and answered the call "yeah?" she answer. Her body language changed dramatically, she seemed tense but relaxed at the same time. She began asking a series of questions "when?", "who's gonna be there", "whats the coordinates. After what sounded like an interrogation she finally hung up the phone and sighed "who was it ?" I piped. She seemed uneasy "just.....someone from work"the girl uttered before walking away but once again I grabbed her long sleeves and pulled her back into my arms. she struggled for a minute before giving up "If there is anything worrying you. tell me, I'll listen" I purred geniuenly concerned for the girl. she quivered against my chest before letting go of me and heading to what i could only guess was her room.
