She was running through the wildwood away from those who gained her scent while hunting. She was near exhaustion when she decided to hide rather than run, besides the one rider she saw was on horseback.

Carefully and quietly climbing a tree she hoped that would fool the rider chasing her. She felt uncomfortably hot, sweaty, her heart was hammering and her chest ached from lack of breaths she was inhaling.

The rider and horse were beneath her now, black haired head turning this way then that. Slowly turning the black horse in a tight circle searching for her, then oh so slowly the riders head searched upwards. No no please don't, but too late, the most beautiful young man she had ever seen looked at her with his piercing green eyes. His smile when he spotted her was triumphant, as though nothing ever escaped him and as usual she was no exception.

She gasped and suddenly moved on the branch when he took aim and fired an arrow at her, he missed but she had fallen from the tree. "Margaret, margaret..."

"Margaret, wake up!." Her head jerked up to see her teacher looking down at her "Margaret, you are to see me after class." her teacher walked back to the front of the classroom and began teaching again.

This had been occurring more regularly lately, when she was little she never needed sleep she could see them. Her parents were worried about her and was taking her to see a psychologist each week. So far she's just a daydreamer an there must be something happening in her life she needs to escape from.

The problem was both worlds seemed real, in one she was awake, the other asleep. The schedules were becoming increasingly mixed up, due to the Never having an inconsistent timeline unlike the human world.

"Margaret, margaret, I've told you time after time it's my duty to bring you before Winters court should I catch a summer fey close to Winters boarders. I wish you would listen to me had it not been me you would have been in serious trouble."

"I'm sorry." I replied he ran a hand through his dark hair and he looked so handsome in his winter solder uniform. I couldn't help but blush from my thoughts. I stood and patted his horse Alganon when he mentioned it I knew he would my parents had.

"Margaret, are you quite alright, when you fell from the tree you didn't respond to me for quite some time though your eyes were open." he approached, his hand gently tilting my face upwards to meet his eyes "I was afraid you were dead."

"You know me it's the dreams I'm having trouble controlling them, I jump from one to the other." I looked at him my beautiful winter soldier I had known since I was a young fey playing in the wildwood "I'm having some issue knowing if your real or if the other dream is real, or perhaps I am not real I feel almost crazy, though I'm able to see, touch, taste, smell in both dreams."

Shaking my head and sighing heavily "In both dreams I am the only one like me no one experiences what I do nor does anyone look similar to anyone in the other dream so there is no way you can understand." He cane up to me and held me against him in a hug

"Perhaps you are meant to choose between the two?." I looked up moving from his arms shaking my head "I cannot, my parents in both dreams I love them so much. I have a life in both." He stroked my hair "Hmm perhaps you do but it's clearly becoming worse Margaret."

"Margaret, oh thank goodness sweetheart I was so scared you were catatonic for hours!." my mother cried hugging, rocking me, stroking my hair as he had. "Where are we?." My mother pulled away "Hospital the neurological testing on your brain was no help at all it said you were awake, it said you were responding to stimuli but it said that even when you weren't provided with any. The stupid scan pretty much said you were fine though parts of your brain had lit up where many people don't use it.

I frowned "Okay but this room?." my mother seemed nervous she stilled and fidgeted, her hands in her lap. "I'm so sorry we only do what's best and the best thing is to get you all better so we consented to have you committed." "What!." I stood up shaking my head and pacing "This isn't fair my behaviour is completely normal! the only time there's an issue is when I sleep or do that awake sleep thing. I'm not crazy!!."

It was no use though despite not being crazy it wasn't normal behaviour. In my one on one therapy session I told my doctor I knew what he was and that I couldn't control the dreaming states that took me over. We actually had a great talk, many patients who are thought insane can see the others who inhabit or visit this world.

He determined I was indeed not crazy however inhabiting two worlds at once was unheard of but he would try contact my winter soldier. I was hopeful but how could I have two bodies an one me? this was impossible.

"You need to travel to the human world I'm in the crazy ward at Springfield General. Bring my body with you one needs to be killed I think, I don't know but I do know my doctors trying to help me." Cool fingers brushed against my cheek "As you wish my sweet Margaret, I was once again fearful you may not wake up."

The staff were surprised to see a comatose me but better looking and a handsome winter soldier entering the building. "Oh dear she got out, thank you for bringing her back." said the receptionist "I'm still here he needs to see my doctor." And now they're really freaked out but get the doctor.

Together me and well me sit my beautiful winter soldier looks sad as does my doctor. I look across at myself comatose but awake in the chair as a human now the two bodies are closer I've been switching back and forth more frequently. "I believe you need to make a choice, somehow even with different parents and in different worlds you look exactly the same and have the exact same" he paused he couldn't say soul, the fey me shouldn't have one but what else could it be "erm soul."

I loved my life in both worlds but I decided the human me should probably die, I think whatever's been happening to me since childhood is more magical. I take the small knife offered and now in my fey self I stab through the chest of my human self, I push as hard as I can. Ive never killed before and this is horrible, unarmed and for no reason than to stop the insanity it's too much for me as tears slip from my eyes and exhaustion overcomes me. The last thing I remember is my legs giving way.
