For Random Adventure

I've been writing fiction since grade school, but there are some things even I haven't tried yet. This is where I do that.

All items under this heading are short stories I've written just to see if I can. Some of them try out new genres I've never tried before, some blend two or more genres (like "Lady Smith", which combines high fantasy with spy-fi), some are prompted by music or a picture I found, while others are just random, ridiculous ideas that I think will make an interesting but altogether unrealistic or even caricatural story.

Unlike the contest entries, all stories in this section will have a 2500 word limit and a 1500 word minimum. If I go over the limit or under the minimum, I'll mark the experiment as a failure on the status label.

Like the contest entries, each story in this section will have a common header to give all the vital information regarding the story. Here's the setup:

First, I'll denote the type of experiment it is (untested genre, genre blend, photo prompt, musical prompt, or crazy idea), alongside the proposed genre or genres I'll (try to) use. If there is a picture or musical piece that prompted the experiment, it will be placed in the media banner.

If someone else prompted the experiment, I'll list their name and/or Wattpad profile. Otherwise, I'll just point at myself.

Then, you'll get a status report detailing whether the story is finalized, incomplete, or awaiting feedback before I stamp it as finished. You'll also find out here if I did not meet my word count requirements, alongside the general reader reactions to the story (praise, confusion, rage, etc.).

A word count will finally be provided (excluding the header), and then you get to read the experiment! Be sure to comment on how you think I did!
