Pulling his fingers through his poorly cared for hair, he ignored the many hushed whispers as he passed through the halls. Although it was cramped, many students frantically rushed to get out of his way. Having a dull and bored stare, he approached his locker. Using his slender pale fingers, he twisted the knob. With a simple click, the lock opened and fell gracefully into him palm. Effortlessly, he pulled the blue metal door open, with a screeching noise. While pulling out the essentials, a hand placed itself on his right shoulder, making him tense up.
"Hey, Jungkook, my man! Long time no see! So the hermit finally came out of his shell?" The voice gave an airy laugh. Jaw clenching, and teeth compressed together, his throat tightened. Not needing to turn around, he could immediately recognize that voice anywhere.
"Taehyung." He acknowledged the older male, though his voice sounded forced.
"Don't be so stiff! Lighten up!" The cheerful male, lightly slapped the back of his shoulder, making Jungkook grunt. Ignoring Taehyung, Jungkook continued to collect his items. "What's got your underwear in a twist?" The brown headed boy asked, with a grin slightly appearing. "Don't tell me it's that game again." He said with an unimpressed groan.
As he restrained himself from punching the odd male, his chiselled jaw twitched with an uprising surge of anger.
"It's not a game." His voice wavering with irritation.
"I know, I know. It's a mental simulator which helps the brain relax and strengthens it's abilities." Taehyung said in a mocking tone, "Yeah, like nothing helps the brain relax with a nice game of swords and blood." He said sarcastically, as he rolled his eyes.
Jungkook ignored him. He didn't want to deal with this shit right now. Slamming his locker door -quite hard- shut, not caring if people were giving him glares, shocked looks, or confused stares, he carried his books, as his two muscular arms wrapped around them, making sure they didn't fall. Walking past Taehyung, Jungkook started making his way towards his next class.
"Hey! Don't leave me!" Jogging to catch up with the black haired male, Taehyung walked beside him. "Anyway," He started, pushing away the scene that just happened a few seconds ago, "Hyungs and I were thinking of going out today after school. You wanna come?"
"Can't." Jungkook answered plainly, "Have work."
"Work?" Taehyung flinched back a bit, surprised, "you found a job?" His eyes widened and blinked a few times, like he was trying to make sure this was real and wasn't a dream.
"Yes. I did." Jungkook answered quite annoyed.
"Well then. I guess there's not much of a choice now is there." Thinking the male had stopped pestering him about his job -which he had made up to get the older student to stop bothering him-, Jungkook let his shoulder's relax as he kept walking to his class, with the occasional glance of a giddy female student. "You just have to skip work." Taehyung concluded. Arching a brow, Jungkook turned his head towards him.
"I can't exactly do that." Jungkook rolled his eyes at his incompetent hyung.
"Why not? I'm sure you can charm anyone with those dreamy eyes of yours." He snorted as he teased his younger classmate. Furrowing his brows together and closing his eyes, he ignored the comment Taehyung had made.
"I can't do that, because it's not real. I don't really have a job." Jungkook dully answered.
"I knew you didn't get a job!" Taehyung pointed a finger towards the ceiling, gleeful that he had gotten something correct. Jungkook just shook his head and sighed.
