Lola POV

We arrive in the front of Eli's condo. On the inside, we can hear shouting from out here. "You dumb bitch, I told you not to call me unless he was HERE". I look back at mo with my eyebrow raised. She shrugs and whispers "he's not like that around me". 

Marie rolls her eyes and shushes her. We all get our attention back to the door. Suddenly we hear a female's voice, "He was here! i swear it!". Then we hear bumping noises, and I give them a nod. I kick in the door and theybfollow right behinds. I am shocked to see somebody getting choked... And it wasn't the girl. It was Eli. On the side of him was a man I'd never thought i'd see again. Horror filled my body with a  hint of a shiver.

The mysterious guy choking momo's mate snapped his head towards us so fast that you'd think he'd had whiplash. His face fully revealed into the light. 

His handsome face formed a grin at the sight of us. The moment our eyes met, i was sent into a flashback of our first encounter.

Flashback~

"It's too earlyy" Momo complained. 

"Shut up" Marie's wolf 'Lilly'  said.

"Ugh lilly's ugly ass is up" I mumbled. "Bring Marie out why don't you"

"Suck your ass up lola, before i show you how ugly i can really get." She grumbled back.

"Is that a threat bitch?" I sneered. And before my mind could react, my body was already throwing the dagger by my bed at her.

But i forgot she had telekenesis. She threw the knife back at me.. fucker..

So there i was.. in hell.

Then i heard a voice "WHERE IS MARRYYY?!!". 

I turned around to see.. him.. Lucifer.

Yeah, as in.. horns, tails, and a head on fire. 

He stopped yelling and turned to look at me.

"Well well.. what do we have here"

I remained silent,  not because i didn't wanna reply, but because i think i shit my pants.

End of Flashback~

I'm shaken out of my stupor by mo, who looks confused, but more so panicked.

He drops Eli and begins to stalk towards me in a predatory way.

Although I know they are unnerved by his presence, Marie and Momo assume their positions at my side.

This is bullshit  my wolf says. Why is he back?

He  stop a few inches away from us with a smirk formed on his plush lips.

I shake away my oncoming shiver from his smell and current close distance.

I push my ego and pride forward and say "well well... What do we have here?"

His smirk widens as he realizes those were his first words to me.

I turn my head to Momo, who gazes worriedly at her mate. With a nod, she and Marie go help the pathetic warlock that was practically choking on oxygen.

I raise my eyebrows with a smirk of my own, waiting for his smart remark to come.

Instead he says "Although I am the slightest bit surprised  to see you, I have some business to finish. Then maybe we can talk about how your life has hit rock bottom". His gaze still has a hint of mischief in them.

I laugh off his attempt to put me down. "Oh Lucy"

He glared at the name I always have called him, and the one he always has hated.

I continue, "lucy lucy, you of all people should know... I'm always on top..".

With a wink, my smirk turns into a wicked grin as I know that him being back is going to be fun.

Little does he know, he's just another target I'm going to kill, for my redemption..
