Damon's POV

I strolled through the woods as I saw a couple camping, this was my perfect opportunity to show Stefan I could ruin this pathetic little town. I waited until they got out of the tent, the man got out first to the road just round the corner from the tent space they created, he opened the boot and I stood behind him and sank my teeth into his neck, I held him high up in the air as he was basically dead and then I saw the woman look around and I dropped his body on the car as I heard her shrieking screams and cries for help and I sank my teeth into her neck savouring the blood, there was no way of stopping me now...

Stefan's POV

Dear diary

Last night was fun, I stayed at Elena's until three in the morning and we just talked about everything, she still hadn't told me about her parents, even though I knew but that was a big risk for her to take so I understood that. Today gave me a more relaxed feeling because I knew I would see her again and for the first time In a long time, I felt wide awake.

Elena's POV

Dear Diary

Stefan and I stayed up for hours and hours just talking but I wasn't ready to tell him about my parents, surely he understood and for some reason I felt happy, and I knew I was going to see him again and for the first time in forever, I felt good.

I put my diary away as I saw My aunt Jenna walk through the doors with her suitcases, she was our full time parental guardian now, I hugged her and she smiled and hugged me back, she hadn't seen me since my parents funeral. Jeremy gave her a massive hug and she could smell the booze on him which was no surprise because I was pretty sure anyone could. She smiled widely and put her dark red hair up in a bun and she wore a purple v neck top with blue jeans.

I smiled widely as we walked downstairs and I made her some bacon, she smiled as we sat at the table and the news came on, two deaths in one night, it was a couple camping, it was so devastating and I felt so sorry for their families having to go through that.

"Shocking isn't it? I heard they were celebrating their engagement and then some random monster kills them" Jenna shook her head

"That's so horrible" I shook my head

"So is there any boyfriends I need to know about?" She asked and smirked at me

"He's not my boyfriend but there's this guy Stefan, were really close and he usually comes round here quiet often" I smiled widely

"Oooo, do you like him?" She asked

"I'm not sure but I know what we have right now is good and I don't really want to ruin that for him or myself" I nodded

"Good for you girly, have a good day at school and I'll see you when I get back from work" She smiled and kissed my forehead

"Bye aunt Jenna" I waved and walked out and Jeremy walked out through the back

Matt's POV

I woke up in the hospital chair as I was beside my sister Vicki who was wrapped up in bed on wires that helped her survive, I saw Jeremy Gilbert stood at the door way looking at her, I frowned. I felt sorry for the kid, he had lost his parents and he really liked Vick and he was hooked on crack, I couldn't even begin to imagine how hard that is for him.

"Is she going to be okay?" He asked

"The doctors said she's stable, she should make a full recovery soon" I nodded

"Ok, as long as she's okay" he nodded

"Jeremy listen, whatever you and my sister have.. Don't you think it needs to stop?" I Asked
