Chapter 7💙 Haunted

Elena's POV

I woke up wide awake, I barely had any sleep, my break up with Stefan was probably the least thing I was crushed over right now or so I thought. He was a vampire and my ex boyfriends sister was turned into a vampire and she fed on a police officer called Logan Fell, aunt Jenna's ex boyfriend, it made no sense and I sure as hell didn't want to move out of bed but I had to, I had to go see Vicki and Stefan. I walked into the bathroom and saw Jeremy leaving really early, he was probably searching for Vicki, I felt bad for not telling him but he couldn't know about any of it.

I walked to the boarding house and I knocked on the door and Damon surprisingly answered, I sure as hell didn't want to see him, I hated his guts right now and I sure hope to god that he knew, he had that smirk he always used, it was enchanting but it always worked and those blue eyes you could stare into. Ugh, what am I even thinking, he's jealous, life ruining, psychopath!

"Is Stefan home?" I asked

"Yes" he nodded

"Where is he?" I asked

"Well good morning to you too gorgeous, I'm fine thank you how are you!" Damon sarcastically raised his voice

"How can you be so arrogant after everything that you've done?" I asked

"And how can you be so god damn stupid but pretty brave to call a vampire arrogant?" He asked

"If you wanted me dead, I'd be dead" I glared at him

"Yes, yes you would" he nodded

"But I'm not" I smiled sarcastically

"Don't speak too soon" he winked

"Where is Stefan?" I asked impatiently

"He's upstairs singing, knock yourself out" he smiled widely and walked out

"Stefan? Stefan?" I asked and shouted up the stairs as I closed the door and walked in

"Elena? I didn't expect you to be here" he looked surprised

"where is Vicki?" I asked

"Upstairs, follow me" he nodded

We walked upstairs and saw vicki sat at the table drinking a glass of blood, I felt sick as I saw if but I managed to keep my feelings and opinions to myself, she looked healthy, she had brown curled hair and a grey vest top on with dark blue jeans, she was looking More better than she did in the face.

"Hey vicki how are you?" I asked

"How am i? Dude your ex boyfriend is here and you ask how I am?" She asked and laughed "I'm a vampire with issues, I can't have human blood" She sighed

"Because we don't feed on innocent people Vicki" Stefan sighed

"Well that's boring" She sighed

"Jeremy is upset Vicki you have to stop seeing him" I sighed

Vicki reacted and pushed me up against the wall, Stefan hesitated and then she grabbed me by my throat as I struggled to breathe

"Okay siren you perky little bitch, I'm a lot stronger than you now and you had my brother whipped for fifteen years and then you dumped his ass, and when I look at you all I see is that so I'm gonna see Jeremy whenever I like because I have fun new toys to play with and I won't think twice about ripping your scrawny little head off, you got that Gilbert?" She asked viciously

"Vicki put her down!" Stefan shouted

"God, such a spoil sport" she sighed and dropped me on the floor
