JC's POV:

I shoved on my toms and headed out in the car to get food with Ricky. I'm starving! Plus Ricky mentioned we are meeting a pretty girl friend of his there, damn I can't wait. Maybe I can get her number and finally have a girlfriend if Ricky is cool with that. I mean he has never mentioned having feelings for her? I need to ask, I've seen pictures of this girl, and what can I say...she's hot!

"So, Ricky. Is y/n your girlfriend?" I asked intrigued by what Ricky has to say

"No, she's just my friend. I love her, but she's just a good friend." Ricky looked over with a smirk on his face "Why? You wanna ask her out?" The smirk soon becoming a grin

"Maybe." I blushed

"It's cool dude, go for it"

LA traffic made the journey to get food feel like a lifetime, I still can never get used to it. It didn't help that I just wanted to get there so I could meet y/n and see what she is really like.

Ricky during the whole journey was telling me all about her, how she is laid back and loves the simple life. How she always has a smile on her face and a laugh in her voice. She sounded like my kind of girl. My fingers are crossed and hopefully, just maybe I will finally have a girlfriend in my life. Thats if she likes me?

Before I could question myself further, and let my insecurities take over, Ricky had managed to find a parking spot, and we were headed to Taco Bell.

Inside, it wasn't as busy as it usually is, maybe because it was the middle of the afternoon 4:15pm to be precise. But, in the corner of the place I saw her, I knew it was her because she looked exactly like the pictures Ricky has been showing me. However, as typical as it may sound, she looked more beautiful in person.

"Hey girl!" Ricky yelled whilst walking towards her and his hands in the air

With a little embaressment, I followed behind watching her, as a huge grin grew across her face, and little dimples showed themselves in her cheeks. My heart began to fluster and my cheeks began to grow redder, when we finally stopped but remained standing at the opposite side of the table.
