A swarm of mosquitoes came at all of us, I swatted them away and tried to run from them, I tripped on a rock and fell on the dirt road, feeling pain in my knees and palms from trying to stop myself. I stood and brushed of my clothes, slapping off a mosquito that almost bit me. I ran home, nearly diving into the house and locking the door. Mama locked the windows and swatted the mosquitoes than snuck in. "Harry, dear are you okay?!" She asked me. "Yes.." I panted, although she noticed my knees all bloody and my hands scraped. "Oh gosh." Mama said, cleaning out the dirt from my wounds, causing me to wince, but then being bandaged up.

"What happened to you child?" Sarah asked, walking over to us.

I was still out of breath but I tried to explain. "Man. Pa-assed out. Screams. M-M-"

"Hush now," Sarah said, "wait 'till you catch your breath." She spoke, handing me a glass of water as I took a sip, finally regaining my breath. "Thank you, sarah." We shared a smiled before Mama interrupted

"Now, what happened dear.." She asked calmly

"I, I heard a scream, and I went to check it out and there was a man on the ground, his skin was tainted yellow and I couldn't quite make it out but I think the white of his eyes were yellow too. I was going to ask what had happened, but a swarm of mosquitoes attacked us, I ran and tripped, causing this injuries, then I recovered from my fall and headed home.."

"That's strange..." Sarah said, listening to the whole thing.

"Bailey went out for a walk! Oh god, I must get Bailey before something terrible happens!" Mother said getting up and heading to the door, holding her dress.

"No, Mama, I'll get him.." I said, stopping her in her tracks.

"Harry, you're fragile, you cannot stand whatever is going on out there." That hurt my feelings a bit but we had no time.

"I will go! I'll be fine!" And without another word, I was out the door.

There was mosquitoes attacking everyone, screams and running. I looked around, "BAILEY!" I called out "BAILEY!!" I said louder, losing hope.

"Right here harry!" I heard a familiar voice that belonged to Bailey.

"What in God's name are you doing out here!? Its crazy and you cannot defend yourself." Again, my feelings were hurt, but I brushed it off.

"Less talk, get inside before these beasts take out blood!" I yelled, running with Bailey back home, we safely got home, no bites. Bailey let out a huge sigh and set his hat down. Mama rushed and hugged us both, glad we weren't hurt.

"It's bad out there! I can hear it from here! Are my boys okay?" She asked, holding out faces and looking into our eyes.

"We're fine, Mama." Bailey said, hugging her back as I followed the action as she kissed our heads.

"I'm so glad my babies are okay!" She said, smiling.

"Ma..." I said, blushing.

"Well you are still my babies, no matter what age!" She said, giggling and kissing our heads again as we all giggled. Then there was a knock at the door, Mama moved us aside and slowly opened it, a man in a suit appeared and handed her a paper, watching the mosquitoes and being cautious. "Breaking news, read it now!" He said, walking to his carriage, I swore I saw some bodies fall as she closed the door. She opened the paper's seals and read the paper, me, Bailey, and Sarah reading from behind her.

We have informed you that a new disease has broken out. We do not know the cause or the symptoms yet, but stay indoors, lock your homes up. If you see anyone with yellow skin or signs of being sick, stay away from them. We have a yellow fever out break.

"Yellow fever" I thought.
