College Love (Lams Fanfiction) (Discontinued)

Chapter 1

I got off my flight keeping my bag by my side it had my computer in it. I was typing down some stuff on the plane so I wouldn't be so bored,  I  messaged the professor ahead of time telling them who I am and that I will be in their class in College obviously in NewYork they replied saying they were greatful for the message, plus
glad to know ahead of time
I got out the airport and grabbed a taxi Im surprised  I finally got enough money to move here well..
with the help with people from my small town despite the fact that they didn't have much money either but I'm grateful.

I headed to the College
I decided it would be best to get a dorm rather then try to live on my own it will help me alot too since I don't have to worry about rent and some people aren't as understanding if you tell them you are a college student and you're trying to rent an apartment, especially when College students are known for throwing party's.

I walked to my dorm praying no one was inside yet I wanted to unpack first before I met my roommate plus I was majorly tired  and didnt wanna talk at the moment ,I walked in sighing in relief  seeing no one was here yet  I walked over to the right side and laid on my bed (well the bed I've chosen )  closing my eyes,
didn't even realized I passed out until I heard the door slam shut and a silent "fuck" after it I sat up and looked to the side seeing a dark skinned guy with a bit of a scruff on his face, black and VERY curly hair up in a messy bun he looked at me and smiled awkwardly seeing as he woke me up  "bonjour mon ami  my name is Lafayette I will be your roommate" His accent was very thick I smiled my hair most likely a mess "Bonjour mon nom est Alexander agréable de vous rencontrer" (hello my name is Alexander,Nice to meet you) I spoke since I was fluent french His jaw dropped and his face lit up "you speak French?" I nodded "I took it in highschool and studied it for fun whenever I had free time"
I stood up to grab my suit case as he did the same grabbing his suit case as well Tossing around some Sentences laughing a bit only an hour  here and I made a good friend I was glad, after unpacking and settling down I was on my laptop going over some stuff looking at story's (news and such) as Laf spoke up "Hey Alexander" I looked at him "My friends and I are going to grab a drink at the new cafe down the street wanna tag along?" I looked at my computer screen and shut it "Sure" I put my laptop back in my bag and stood up fixing my hair putting it in a neat ponytail and brushing off my shirt I was wearing a button up long sleeve white shirt I rolled up the sleeves so I didn't look to formal because I was far from that after a few minutes Laf walked up to me " Êtes-vous prêt(e) ami(e) ?" (Are you ready friend?) I nodded  "Oui je suis prêt" (yes i am ready)
He smiled and hugged me I looked at him confused as he pulled back "Sorry Alex I just get excited by the fact that someone I actually Like or know speaks French" I smiled and we left.
