Chapter Two
At first I tried to shove everything Andy related into my closet, but it got filled up pretty quickly, plus I had nowhere to put the posters. So I decided to take them all down and fold them up neatly and put them under my bed. I was only done one wall before there was no more space left there either. So I just gave up, unfolded them, and put them back up where they'd been pinned to drywall.
I look at my Black Veil Brides graffiti alarm clock. He's going to be here in a half an hour and all I've done is waste time. Once again I try and convince myself that maybe just keeping out of my room will be easier. Taking one final look at my room from my perch on my canopy bed I decide that it's hopeless. Black Veil Brides t-shirts are tossed haphazzardly on the floor along with a few Asking Alexandria ones. Black and red skinny jeans are grouped in piles and a few other band t-shirts are interspersed with t-shirts of Charles's band that he'd made me.
"This is hopeless," I plop down on my covers and hold my head in my hands. "He is going to think I've gone crazy."
Yeah, part of me whispers to the other, crazy over him.
"Ugh!" I pick up my pillow and throw it against the wall.
Suddenly my phone rings again, Andy's ringtone calling me from somewhere under the piles of clothes. Once again I search for it and when I pick up I'm breathless.
"Yeah?" I wheeze.
"Um, you need to stop with all that running because your lungs might just eventually give out," Andy laughs to himself.
"Thank you for being so concerned for my health," I roll my eyes and stand up.
"So, I'll see you in, say, twenty minutes?"
Twenty minutes! I just wasted ten thinking about him and how crazy in love I am over him! Shit! This isn't good!
"Uh, yeah,"
"Can you just leave your back door unlocked? Ashley's got a car and he's going to drop me off around the block so that I can sneak in...you know how crazy the fans can get."
"Yeah," I laugh. "I know."
"So...see you in twenty!"
"See ya!"
Andy hangs up and I fall backwards on my bed.
This.
Is.
Not.
Good.
So, I do the only thing I can think of. I call Charles.
"Can't get the posters out of your room?" He asks the moment he picks up.
"They're everywhere!" I practically yell.
"Nice one, Devin,"
"It's not my fault! He's freaking hot!"
"Tell Jinxx that for me, would ya?"
"Charles!"
"Sorry! Sorry, I got a little carried away..."
"A little!?"
"Okay, a lot! Damn, Devin, chill out!"
"Sorry, sorry!" I hang my head in my hands. "So what am I going to do?"
"Just keep the boy out of your room." Charles says as if the answer is obvious.
"For a whole twelve weeks?"
"Yep! For a whole- wait, how many?"
"Twelve!"
"You're screwed."
