Waking Up From A Nightmare

Almost the perfect date

I lean over my bed and see my alarm clock. It's 5:00 pm which only leads me 3 hours to get ready and meet Aliya at Tony's pizza place. I walk over to the bathroom and see myself at the mirror. I put my hand on the wall next to the mirror. My eyes are so red and I keep squinting as I need glasses. But that's only because I'm high on my weed right now. Ever since I thought about Ria. I rushed home to my room to smoke my precious weed. I hope my redness goes away soon. So Aliya won't think bad of me if she finds out what I been doing.

I turn on the water to take a warm shower. But as soon as I turn it on. I hear the door slam downstairs and screaming. I close the bathroom door and lock it and start taking off my clothes and see the bruises on my body on the mirror. There purple and blue as I poke the bruise I yelp in pain. I get under the water thinking of Ria and Aliya. Ria doesn't want me because she has Michael who treats her like crap and I wonder if that's what every girl likes. I trace a pattern on the wet wall and trace the name of Aliya. She's beautiful and funny but rarely know her but I'm falling for her which is wrong because what if she doesn't want me back. The warm water going down my body feels good on the bruises as I smile and think of Aliya.

I see her as I walk in to the pizzeria and I smile as I walk up to her. She's so beautiful wearing that light ocean blue dress with blonde curls. She smiles at me and whistles. I look at myself which I'm wearing a light blue with white pattern dress shirt with black jeans and black vans. I smile at her. "You're beautiful as usually" I say as I smirk at her. She gets up and hugs me. I hug her back and hear her whisper in my ear "not as handsome as you look today Derek" I blush and laugh low to her as we take our seats. She orders two slices of pizza with pepperoni and I smile. "It's like she knows me already" I think to myself. I lay my hand on the table and wait till our pizza's come with our drinks. Her beautiful smile. We talk about the things we want to be when we finish school. I come to find out she wants to be a doctor. I shrug in what I wanna be and tell her " I don't know just yet I still have time you know" I smile. I see the waiter come with the food and place them on the table with our drinks. She starts eating and so do I till we finish. I laugh at her because she has a bit of tomato on the side of her cheek as I lean over and swipe it up with my finger and taste it. She laughs at me and says "gross now you have kooties" we both laugh at the joke she just made. Come to think of she has that sense of humor I always like in a girl.

I feel something on top of my hand and it's her hand. I smile at her as I hold her hand. I get up with her as I put the money on the table for our food. I walk to the door and hold it open for her to walk through. We are still holding hands as we go to my car which is a Honda red car. I open her door as she steps in to take a seat. I close it and see the side of me and I see someone who I wouldn't want to see for now. It's Ria with Michael. I shake my head as I go to the my side and open my door and get in. I put on my seatbelt and drive off to Aliya's house to drop her off for the night.
