20 - If he doesn't want you, than stop trying

Shinoa's POV

Throughout the whole day I had been angered. Just by looking at that stupid blonde guy made my blood boil in anger. All I ever did was try to be friendly with him, so why did he do that to me?

We stopped at a small restaurant right next to the beach which had an AMAZING view of it. Mika San had ordered a large table for all of though, I was too embarrassed to even sit by Yuu San so I settled with Yoichi at the end of the table. His emeralds roamed around the menu as I stared off into the beach.

I could already hear the giggles coming from damn Mitsu and the others. But not Yuu San nor Mika San. They had both been quiet and now that I mentioned it, they hadn't even said one word to each other which was rather odd in my opinion. Yuu San chose Mika San to be his chaperone so I was still curious.

"Shinoa?" A soft voice said. I turned to face the beautiful Yoichi and smiled back. He set his menu down and grabbed a hold of my smaller hands. I'd be lying if I said it didn't comfort me because it really did. He was always so kind to me.

"I'm sorry if I laughed at you earlier. I know you really have a thing for Yuu kun," Yoichi softly whispered.

"It doesn't matter to him anyway," I began, avoiding Yoichi's gaze. "Everyone at school has a huge crush on him, I'm no different to him," I groaned. And I was right. Yuu San always rejected people that confessed there love to them. Which was the number one reason why I hadn't confessed to him in the first place. I knew it wouldn't have ruined our friendship seeing that he rejected Yoichi's confession and Asuramaru's. But I still didn't want to have that feeling.

"I think it's time I'd tell you," Yoichi sighed. My eyebrows furrowed. "Tell me what?" I asked, curiosity building up. He looked at the view of the ocean and back to me.

"Do you know why Yuu kun rejected everyone?" He asked. I nodded. Never did I know. Even the prettiest girls who had confessed to him, he objected, probably to his displeasing I supposed?

Yoichi smiled, nonetheless.

"Because he's always had the hugest crush on you, Shinoa. He just never confessed to you because he's afraid of what you're afraid of. Rejection. See, he told me a couple months ago that he was gonna do it the day he got the job with Mika but I guess he never did. I asked him why but he seemed really timid at the time and changed the subject every time I asked him. I can't help but think this has to do with Mika kun. I'm probably going crazy but, maybe you should confess to him before his feelings fade away," He concluded. My mind turned into a faze upon hearing Yoichi.

"W-why didn't you tell me this before?! You knew I liked him!" I whined, pulling his arm. Yoichi sighed.

"Because he told me not to tell anyone, especially you but since you're so desperate, I think it's about time you two lovers get together," he smiled softly. I blushed a little and kissed his cheek.

"Thanks, Yoichi, and I know how much you liked him so I'm really sor-"

"Don't be," he hushed.

"Just go tell him," he concluded. I finally stood up from my seat and made my way to Yuu san whom had been talking (or more like fighting) with Kimizuki and Mitsuba. Mika San just sat in front of them, staring at the menu when he saw my presence. I could feel his orbs piercing through my flesh just when he saw me. What's his problem anyways?

"Yuu San," I smiled, patting his shoulders. He turned around and smiled as well. Oh god how beautiful his smile was (I can already tell a lot of you are cringing because of Shinoa ruining the ship LOL).
