Then push came to shove
Why you left I don't know
But its hard to let go.
My love grew and grew
But you just threw
My broken heart away
When all I did was love you every day.
To say I wasn't enough hurt
But you keep on bringing pain
And my tears heavy as rain.
I gave you money and time
I gave all my heart could find
I'm bothered every day
Then one day you didn't leave a letter just ran way.
My composure slowly heals and my love is new
For another has set my free
And I hope you still agree
To that one broken promise that you pledged to be.
