-Mia-

-Two weeks later-

I was talking to Philipa when she got a call and stepped outside, i shrugged and continued rehearsing for my schools choirs concert. Philipa was the only one that knew i was trying out for a solo in 'How Far I'll Go' the one thing I found weird was they gave up a couple months warning. So tryouts we're a few months after Theatre. When she came back in all giddy and smiling.

"Whats up Pippa?" I asked

"Come on stage tonight after bows, theres a huge party!" Pippa smiled, i nodded and left so she could get ready. i laid in my room singing to differnt disney songs and practicing the choreography i had to do for tryouts for Drama club in school. Another weird thing; the school season is in session but I'm not going.

Eventually curtain call ended and i was escorted, or carried, by Oak to the stage. The entire hamilton cast stood there. people were still seated. i was super confused.

"Uh, hey-- oh thanks josh?" i said as the one stage crew member taped a mic to my face. he gave me a thumbs up.

"OK! so this is Mia, shes been living here for a few weeks." Lin introduced me and i waved, Oak picked me up and sat me on his one shoulder.

"Sadly im gonna have to go from calling her Mi-Mi to Mini Ramos now." Oak declared and Daveed fake cried. i was confused again, Mini Ramos?

"Mia is honestly, like my favorite person on this stage." Renee laughed and Pippa pushed her a bit playfully.

"Kinda gotta agree, Mias chill." Pippa smiled. Everyone made these tiny speeches about me, then the lights dimmed and i saw Jasmine and Anthony-- ANTHONY RAMOS.

"So Mia." Jasmine said.

-Jasmine-

"Today two weeks ago Anthony and i went somewhere filling out paper work." I said, people in the audience gasped.

"And we paid $500 to officially foster you to someone." Anthony smiled "To Jazzy and I."

People in the audience screamed, Mia started crying and ran forwards. I lifted her off the ground and held her tightly in my arms. This was a moment id never change. The whole cast came in to do a little group hug, laughing. When a crack erupted, Lin yelled out active shooter word 'Hamilgo!' and I ran. Anthony making sure everyone got backstage, Security was sent out. People panicked, Mia was crying heavier, Oh god, Oh god. my heart picked up speed, my vision blurred. My mind blanked and i fell. My eyes screwed shut as I heard Mia screaming my name.

I stood on stage, my first ever performance! I waved and bowed people cheered and whistled, my family screamed my name happily. My best friend Lillian walked on stage, bowed and before the applause came in loud cracks shot off. The director screamed 'GO!" and the cast flocked off stage. I grabbed Lillian's hand and then another crack. Lillian fell, I was shot in the arm. No, no, no. Blood soaked the stage and Lillian's costume, I dropped by her side. She held my hand until her final breath.

"Im Sorry! im so so Sorry!" I screamed into the air.

Lillian was gone. She was dead.

I shot up in bed, Tears and sweat soaked my face. I heard movement int he kitchen and a 'I'll go check on Jazz.' Anthony's head popped in the door and he ran at me, tackling me into a hug. mumbling things i couldn't understand.

"Jazz, I thought I lost you." Anthony whispered.

"It was just a bad-- awful-- memory." I responded.

Mia climbed on bed with us and we all hugged, laughing and crying. This was a family, Our family.

"Love you Jazz."

"Love you too Ramos."
