"Lydia, sweetie. It's time to wake up, you've been in bed all day and it's almost noon." You heard your grandma say as she opened your drapes.
"Ahh! The light, it burns." You screeched as the light hit your face. You propped yourself up on one elbow and hid your face from the light with your other hand.
You had only been here a couple of days and you already hate it. You moved to Hemlock Grove to live with your grandma. Your parents just got a divorce and you didn't want to live with either of them so your grandma took you in with open arms. You have always been close to her ever since you were a little girl, and you loved living with her, but you hate the town she lives in. It's the last week of summer before your senior year starts and you're already dreading it. You miss your old friends from your old town.
"Lydia it's time to get up. I don't want you staying in the house all day again. Go out and meet some people, school is just around the corner and maybe it will be easier if you have one friend to hang out with." Grandma said as she sat on the edge of the bed.
"I know, I know. Maybe getting some fresh air will get me out of this funk that I'm in. I'm going to take a shower and get ready and then walk around the town." You sighed trying to sound happy.
"Thank you sweetie, have fun today." She smiled and left the room and closed the door behind her.
"Ugh!" You screamed and throw your head back on the pillow.
After a couple minutes of staring at the ceiling you decided to drag your ass out of bed and jump in a hot shower.
Once you were done you; blow dried and straighten your hair, did your makeup, and put on some high waisted shorts with a floral tank top.

It was a nice, hot late summer day as you strolled the streets of Hemlock Grove. You weren't looking for anything in particular, but then you found it. A candy store.
"I hadn't been to one of these since I was little" you thought to yourself as you opened the door and walked in.
As soon as you walked in the sweet smell of candy made you smile. The store was bright and colorful, and was packed with little kids. A nostalgic joy ran through your veins as you looked around the store. There was barrels of salt water taffy, jawbreakers, and gumdrops galore. It even had an ice cream parlor. To your surprise you weren't the only teenager in there.
He was dressed nice. His hair was slicked back and he was wearing a white t-shirt, with the navy blue cardigan, and a nice jacket. He was holding an ice cream cone and was about to take a bite, when he noticed you starting at him. You quickly looked away and then glanced back to see if he was still looking at you. He was, hardcore eye fucking you it seemed like. You felt too awkward to say anything to him so you left the store.
As you pushed the door open, you felt someone grab you by the wrist. You quickly spun around, nearly hitting the person in the face with your hair. To your surprise it was the boy.
"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. I'm Roman Godfrey. I was about to talk to you, but you left so suddenly." He said with a slight smirk.
"No worries, you didn't scare me that bad. I'm Lydia king." You cheered holding out your hand from him to shake. " I'm new in town, I just moved in with my grandma and decided to explore a bit." You said, as he shook your hand.
"Well it is very nice to meet you, Lydia king" He smiled. "If you want I can take you on a tour of the town?"
"I would love that" you smiled.
---
He showed you all the local shops and best places to eat. The last stop on the "famous Godfrey tour" as he called it, was the White Tower.
You got out of his car and walked up to the huge skyscraper with him. "So you own all of this?" You said, with a shocked look on your face.
"Yep." He sighed
The inside of the building was huge and fascinating. Everything was white, white floors, white walls, white desks, even the outside of the building was white. "No wonder why it's called the white tower." You thought to yourself. He showed you everything he was aloud to show you. It was all so amazing.
"Well this is the top floor." He said as we walked into his office.
"And this is your office, so you work here as well? I thought you were still in high school?" You questioned.
"I do, and I am. It's all just eh to me. They call me when I need to sign something or sit in a Business meeting. My name is just on the building I don't really do anything." He sighed.
You were about to say something when you were cut off by Roman. "Hey this place in kind of boring, wanna get out of here?" He smirked.
"And go where?" You said in flirty tone.
"My place" he winked.
"You'll have to convince me first" you replied.
"Uh, I have a pool." He grinned.
"Okay I'm convinced. It's hot as hell today." You said and he looked at you and laughed.
---
The car ride to his house was short. You chatted a bit, but your mind was racing. "What are you doing Lydia? You literally just met this guy and you're already going back to his place? Yeah, sexy as fuck, but there's something not right with him. Hot guys are not this nice." You thought to yourself
