The Day I Met You

Chapter 2: Awkward

"It's always easy making new friends, But it's not always easy keeping those friends."

Exo had a table a few feet away from Got7.

Only Baekhyun, Xiumin, Chanyeol, and D.O. were there. The other members had wandered off since they got bored.

Baek was on his phone, laughing his life away.

Chanyeol tried to get people to play with them, struggling to speak English.

Their station had a Wii U and many games to play with but Xiumin and D.O. decided to play with it themselves.

Walking aimlessly, I bumped into a semi-hard wall.

Apparently, it wasn't a wall. Listen, I'm 5'4" in real life so I bumped into Chanyeol's abs.

I fell back onto the ground and looked up. Chanyeol bent over me and blocked the light shining in my eyes.

Chanyeol: "너 괜찮 니, 내 사랑이야?"*

Me: "예, 물론!"**

Chanyeol: "Oh, You good speak Korean! What...is...ah...your..name?"

I smile then laugh at what he said.

I'm still learning too so we're not perfect.

Baekhyun noticed me laughing and came over. At least Baekhyun took the time to learn English more.

Baek: "Don't laugh at him at least he tried." smirking at me, he notices my skirt was a little too high up.

Baek: "Do you want guys looking up your skirt?"

He comes over to me, pushing me into his chest, and pulling the back of my skirt down.

I start blushing like crazy and scared, I push him away from me. He shocked by my sudden action and covers half of his blushing face.

Chanyeol, who is now silent continues to stare, shocked by the situation.

Awkward.

We continued the silence until Chanyeol decides to break it.

Chanyeol: "괜찮아. 괜찮아. Let's go play, sometimes things happen."***

We head over to Xiumin and D.O. who just finished playing Mario Kart 7.

Me: "I wanna play. I could beat all of you."

Baek told them what I said and they all looked at each other then laughed.

Me: "Okay, let's play then."

After a few rounds, I claim first place continuously leaving their mouths to hang wide from disbelief. Don't laugh if you're gonna regret it later.

Baek: "Wow! That was amazing! You're really good at video games."

They all applauded my skills at beating all four of them at Mario Kart.

They made fun of D.O. for being like 2 inches shorter than me. I made fun of Xiumin's hair since it was split 5:5.

Making jokes, telling stories, showing off our talents, we continued to talk to each other and laughed the hour away.

I noticed the time, 3:45. I should really move on to see the other groups before it starts getting crowded.

The more the day went by, the more people came to visit the fair.

As I say goodbye to Exo, I noticed Crystal coming over to have her turn with them.

Nice to know that she finally shows up after I'm done. I leave her to do what she wants.

Astro was the next group I wanted to visit. I saw a crowd surrounding where they should be.

I wonder what's going on there.

I rush over and wiggle between the crowd to get to the front. No one noticed since I'm small and skinny.
