The Day I Met You

Chapter 8: Oppa

"Sometimes you'll have to break one's heart in order to save another."

Walking down the dark street with Crystal felt like years had passed by. I kept turning my head assuming I heard heavy footsteps.

Me: "You hear that?"

Crystal: "Yeah, I'm kinda scared. I'll call the guys."

We started to walk faster, almost running when we heard the heavy footsteps come closer.

Just then I felt a hand on my shoulder.

I stood there frozen, not knowing who or what was behind me.

Crystal screamed just as Namjoon picked up the phone.

She dropped it and ran from the scene, leaving me all alone. Tears started to form in my eyes as the person grabbed my waist.

I wasn't going to let this guy take me away. I immediately hit him with my elbow and started to make a run for it.

Unfortunately, the guy was quick enough to grab my leg, pulling me down and dragging me off. I kept clawing at the ground in order to stop him.

J-hope: "HANI - AHH !!!"

I looked up to see J-hope running towards me and then passed me. All I hear was grunting and cries from the man being punched in the face by Hobi.

I closed my eyes from the pain of being dragged. My fingers and knees bleeding.

I felt someone lift me up and I open my eyes to see J-hope's beautiful dark brown eyes. He kept yelling at me but I wasn't too sure what he said as I passed out again.

~Time Skip~

I woke up once again to see the starry night sky. It was warm and the moon was full. I moaned from the pain as I sat up on the couch I was placed on.

Namjoon: "Don't get up. You were bleeding a lot but he took care of it."

Me: "Appa!" I hugged Namjoon and became wide-eyed but hugged me back.

Namjoon: "I know you were scared sweety."

He pets my head gently. I shivered in his arms, scared.

He hugged me tightly. His warmth calmed my nerves. I look up at him crying once again.

Namjoon: "I can't believe someone would do that. It didn't even matter that you were with another person."

Me: "Where's Crystal?!"

I panicked as I remembered she was with me. I knew she didn't mean to leave me but I was glad she didn't save herself.

Namjoon: "She's fine. She went to sleep with Jimin and Jungkook. Hehe, She said she couldn't feel safe unless those two slept right beside her while being in the middle."

I giggled. I wonder who she'll pick as her future husband.

Namjoon: "What are you laughing about?"

Me: "Oh nothing!"

My stomach growled loudly. I forgot to eat after all that shopping. As if by magic, Namjoon said what I had on my mind.
