Warning: Profanity
It was just another school and just another group of kids that passed him giving him strange glances.
Yuri leaned against his locker, his black messy hair falling over one of his eyes. He was now a freshman and in a new school. He had gotten expelled from his last one for cussing out a teacher and knocking out a kid. They both had deserved it, and Yuri didn't care anymore whether or not he got expelled. It was a normal thing now.
He sent glares at any kid who looked at him for longer than a second. He knew how he looked. Messy hair that had grown out a bit, black bags under his eyes, skin, and bone, and the baggy black clothes he wore. He was thankful for the fact that there were no uniforms here because he was never going to wear one. He could tell what the kids who past him thought of him, it was so obvious in their expressions and their whispers weren't quiet enough.
Suddenly, he caught the gaze of a Senior who was staring at him from across the room. He had long silver hair, light blue-green eyes, and was wearing bright colors. He sent a glare at the senior, but to Yuri's surprise, the boy didn't look away. In fact, he started to walk towards Yuri, leaving behind his friends who continued to chatter happily.
"What do you want?" Yuri snapped harshly one the older boy had made it over to him. The boy was unaffected, though. "I just wanted to introduce myself! I'm Victor Nikiforov, who are you?" The boy said in a cheerful tone, holding out a hand for Yuri to shake. Yuri ignored the hand. "None of your business, now go back to your little clique Victor Nikiforov." He sneered, and this time the boy in front of him seemed to be shocked. Yuri just rolled his eyes and walked off, not caring that he left his bag sitting by the locker.
He heard Victor call after him, but he didn't bother to turn around. He didn't care. There was always one kid who thought they could get friendly with Yuri, and in the end, they all realized that it was hopeless. Only one boy had managed to get Yuri's approval, and that was Phichit, who was in Thailand at the moment.
It just happened to be Victor who was going to be the boy. Yuri let out a sigh. Seeing how many friends Victor had, Yuri knew that he would give up easily. "Good for me then." He said under his breath.
A kid numbed into him, and judging by the force, Yuri could tell it was on purpose. He turned to face the kid.
The kid was definitely a sixth grader and had the most annoying smirk on his face ever. He had black hair, gray eyes, and tan skin. Yuri raised an eyebrow at this kid who thought he was the top of the world. "Yes? Need something kid?" Yuri said in a deathly tone, and the kid widened his eyes, before narrowing them, the smirk returning. "I am JJ, not kid, get it right. And you must be the emo wannabe?" The kid sneered, and the lame insult made Yuri want to laugh.
"I could've sworn your name was something along the lines of useless, but I guess JJ suits you better. It sounds as stupid as you are." Yuri said, before walking away, leaving a speechless JJ behind. He smirked. He could've said much worse, but there was not point in wasting time with an eleven-year-old.
He heard footsteps running up to him, and he turned around to see who it was. Standing in front of him was an out of breath Victor, holding his backpack. "You. You forgot this.." He said, breathing heavily. Just how far had he run? Yuri took the backpack with a nod and turned away once again. "Whatever." He said and started to walk off once more when he saw someone in the corner of his eye.
The boy was following him.
"What do you want?" He growled at Victor, who put his hands up innocently. "I just want to get to know you is all!" He said in a chirpy voice and Yuri rolled his eyes. "Well, I don't want to talk to you so leave me alone." He growled back, not caring if his words were hurtful. Victor stopped, and Yuri continued walking.
"Alright! Talk to you later then!" He heard Victor call out after him.
Does this boy ever quit?
-
Yuri stood outside of the building, scrolling through his phone. He heard footsteps, and he automatically glared at the boy who walked by him, seeming to shrink away.
"Well, that wasn't very nice." Said a familiar chirpy voice. Yuri had finally identified his accent to be Russian. Yuri glared at the Senior. "Why are you here?" He growled, his voice obviously pissed off. "Didn't I tell you earlier? I want to learn about you!" Victor said, and Yuri just rolled his eyes once more. This boy was gonna be the death of him. "I told you earlier, I. Don't. Want. To. Talk. To. You." He said, his eyes narrowed and threatening. He then turned on his heel and walked off campus and towards his home.
Which was only a few miles away.
**Victor**
He let out a sigh as he watched the boy leave once again, and he suddenly was hit with an idea. He quickly walked out after the boy, making sure that he wasn't in sight from the person he was following. Maybe if he followed him he would get to learn more about him.
They walked for a long time, and Victor now understood why the freshman could walk so fast without getting exhausted. He didn't know why, but he was interested in the mysterious boy. He wasn't usually the type to try and figure out more about someone, especially when they were rude and a jerk, but this boy was different for some reason. Victor needed to know more about this person, and he wasn't going to stop until he did so.
Suddenly, he was snapped out of his thoughts when he realized he was near a beach and that the boy had disappeared out of his sight. He looked around for any sight of the boy and stepped forward a bit. Suddenly something stopped him.
He felt two hands grip him by the shoulders from behind him, and next thing he knew, he was on the sand and the boy he had been stalking stood over him, his foot placed on Victor's stomach. He looked absolutely menacing, his narrowed brown eyes shining in the light of the setting sun.
"U-uh hey..." Victor said nervously, and the boy. pressed his foot harder into Victor's stomach. "Why the fuck are you following me?" The boy growled at him. Before he could answer, however, Victor heard other voices fill the air.
"Oi look! It's the faggot, Yuri Katsuki!"
