Yuri let out a sigh and hid his face in his hand, thinking over the events that were taking place. Victor stood in front of him, waiting for something. Probably a response of some sort.
Yuri felt bad, but over the years, he had forgotten how to actually admit that. Most people apologize right?
Yuri didn't feel like that would be good enough. He needed to do something to fix this. But something also lingered in the back of his head.
Should he be this sorry? Victor had taken his reaction far and in the long run, hurt what Yuri thought to be protected.
Yuri finally realized just how weak he really was.
He felt something for Victor that he never thought he would. He never thought that someone as idiotic as the boy in front of him could catch his eye. Then again, he never thought anyone could.
He hated this feeling.
And he hated the fact that he couldn't figure out a way to apologize to someone who somewhat deserved it. He had grown up closed off, locked inside himself, that once he had been broken he could do anything.
"Yuri?"
He heard his name be spoken, but he was so lost in his own thoughts that it sounded distant and hazy. He wasn't focusing to what was going on around him. He snapped out of it however, when he felt hands grasp his shoulders.
He gasped in surprise and looked up at the older boy.
"Yuri are you okay?"
He was shocked at the tone the other had. He sounded like he actually cared, like he was sorry.
Yuri pulled away from Victor, surprising the other. He hated feeling weak, he hated caring about others emotions.
"Yuri?"
Yuri narrowed his eyes at Victor and then walked past him, anger controlling his steps.
"I just need some time."
He walked into his room and slammed the door behind him. Running a hand through his hair and laying down on his bed, he let out a sigh. Moving his hand away from his hair, he rested his arm over his eyes.
He laid there for what seemed hours, sleep never once coming to take him. He just let his thoughts roam around his mind, making him remorseful or angry.
He heard the sound of his door opening, and could see the light from outside fill his room. He let out a small growl in frustration, before turning away from the door.
He knew he shouldn't be angry with the other, but he couldn't help it.
He was also angry at himself, more then ever.
He felt his bed dip from another body sitting on it, and let out a sigh.
"Yuri, I'm sorry. Please forgive me."
He could hear the sorrow in the others voice, and that made him feel all the worse.
"Why are you apologizing?"
"Huh?"
Yuri groaned. Had he not made himself obvious?
He sat up, and his face was now inches away from the others. He didn't back away in shock however. Instead, he narrowed his eyes, looking straight into the light green and blue colored eyes.
"You didn't do anything worth apologizing for. I'm the one who ignored you. Yes, your response to that wasn't what I expected, but the blames still on me. So don't apologize."
He could hear the sternness in his voice, but he didn't know how else to get his point across. He expected Victor to nod and leave, just like any sane person.
But instead, he felt arms wrap around him in a tight embrace.
