People judge others for stupid things
They pick out differences
And they leave a sting
But they never take a look past appearances
If they would only stop
They would see I am not so strange
But their deadly stares make my self esteem drop
Making me unable to break through this cage
Society has made people run and hide
The way they look now decides who they are
So many teens have died
Everything has gone too far
The lines hidden by my sleeves
Are the product I will never let you see
You steal my innocence like thieves
I am suffocating in my want to be me
But you feel you have to do it this way
If you knew my real pain
Would you try to make me stay?
Or would you continue to make me insane?
