NOTE: I wrote this poem on self esteem for a class in school, using just about all Black Veil Bride lyrics from their album Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones.

They fill your mind with sadness

But they all look the same

Letting go of the truth you build lies

You are the innocent

The one they leave behind

The star that burned so bright,

Yet faded the fastest

You are just trying to breathe,

 Just trying to figure it out 

As the walls you built up 

Start to crumble down

But we are not interested in the possibility of defeat

Who we are is much more then our bodies

All that we wish for make us like fools on a rope

You will carry on your darkest desire

Do not waste your time on tragedy

Life is yours

So rise from the ashes 

Let the eagle fly

There is freedom in the night

Find a song worth singing

Hold your heart high with your own battle cry

And march on

They will not steal what burns in you
