Going to the mall with James for our 1st time and I hope he buys me something nice, I mean as friends of course not boyfriend and girlfriend that would be awkward!

Going to the mall with Scarlett for our 1st time, and I'm not sure if I should buy her loads of things, also there are her two friends Gwen and Michelle, I think she thought it would be a date or something so she brought someone with her.
Should I ask her if she wants any-thing until she says either you don't have to buy me anything else or she says don't spend any more on me. Yep, that must be it!
