Caitlin's POV

I smile down at the ring on my finger, I can't believe Barry proposed to me in my childhood bedroom. "I love you." I whisper to him softly, "I love you too." He kisses my head, "Caity, Sydney is here, so we are getting ready for dinner!" My mom yells up the stairs, well moment disturbed. "Let's get moving or she might start thinking we are taking advantage of this time alone." I blush, he chuckles, "yeah." He picks me up bridal style running down the stairs just before he hits the bottom level of stairs he places me down and we walk down the rest of the stairs hand in hand. "You must be Caitlin, James has told me so much about you. I'm Sydney." A women holds out her hand when we come down the stairs, "nice to meet you Sydney." I shake her hand, with my left hand, "new jewelry?" She asks pointing to the ring, I nod blushing, "yeah." She smiles, "if no one else knows, I'll keep your secret." I smile, "thank you." I look at Barry who's smiling at me, "Mommy. Mommy." my eyes widen thinking its Andi, I turn noticing a little three year old running into the room. "Hey sweetie. What have I told you about running?" "Not to." The little boy frowns, "thats right Sammy. Sorry this is my son, Sam. He's from my ex boyfriend. Not by choice, he's the best thing that came out of that relationship. But your brother loves him so much. I'm surprised at first I was so afraid that he would hate him, but he loves him." "Yeah he doesn't discriminate, he loves kids." "Barry, come on I'm hungry!" Athena yells from the dinning room, "wait nevermind take your time!" She yells after, I chuckle, 'Andi stop reading my mind!' I say sternly in my mind, 'yes Mommy.' She says softly

We walk into the dinning room, sitting down next to Barry and Andi on my right. I can't stop smiling "I've never seen my daughter this happy. Barry you must be really good for her." My Mom smiles, oh wouldn't she like to know, "I love you daughter. She means the world to me..." "And he means the world to me." I finish for him smiling up at him, he kisses me softly and quickly, "eww." Andi says softly, I look over at her chuckling. I go to tickle Andi and my mom gasps, "Caity, is that what I think it is?" She asks softly, "yeah, Mom it is, he proposed upstairs in my room, its his mothers ring." She smiles brightly, "aww thats so sweet." "Cait, I have one too, Cisco made it." He pulls out a ring with the Flash symbol, I smile brightly, "oh my god." He chuckles, "gonna guess you love it." I nod quickly, "its perfect." He smiles brightly, "when we get home, I have another treat for you." I look at him, "well I don't need anything else besides you." I smile brightly, he kisses my nose, "yes but you're going to love it." He smiles, "can we just eat now?" He asks looking around, we all nod, and we start digging in.
